As I was walking towards the entrance at 6:50pm (I know shame on me) the lady at the front started to close the gate on me saying they were closed. Confused because I could've sworn they closed at 7 I asked what time they closed, she then said they closed in 3 minutes (which would have meant they close at an odd time 6:53pm) and then she said they were waiting on the last customer to leave and that the registers were closed. She kept giving me a ton of excuses that truly didn't make sense. As someone that works in retail and for a company that strides in giving great customer services her actions were a big no. I was there today around 5:30PM and they had one person standing by the door preventing customers from going in. There can be a valid reason for it, so I asked why since the store hours close at 7PM, PST, and I saw people inside. The lamest excuse the personnel gave was that they are closing early for inconvenience--I doubted my hearing and asked to confirm. What this means, it makes no sense. They lost a customer at this store once and for all, and I told my family not to go to this store in Pleasanton. The makeup and fragrance section was also a pretty substantial size, and had plenty of the travel sized goodies that I LOVE! I saw signage in the store about a $20 rewards card with ANY purchase so I went ahead and purchased some merch. Upon checkout I noticed I did not receive the rewards card and inquired about it. The store rep told me that it's only for purchases over $20. I was very confused as the sign specifically stated it's ANY purchase and even showed her the sign in the store (I took a photo and showed her). Unfortunately the rep was very rude in her reply. She stated "I did not make the sign so I can't help you there but it's only for purchases over 20$" and proceeded to wave the next customer over. During the entire transaction I felt rushed and honestly miffed at the situation as I was respectful in my question. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a POC or not, but it sure felt like I was being discriminated against. I noticed she was nice to the customer in front of me but her entire demeanor changed when it was my turn. After I got shooed away, I went back to the line to initiate the return of the exact items I just purchased because the sign was unclear about the requirements and my purchase amount did not make the requirements to take advantage of the deal. At that point I was waved over and helped out by another rep. I repeated my concern, showed her the sign in person again, and the new rep literally said "oh no, it's for ANY purchase so let me ring you up for the card." so at that point I feel even more justified in my concern about my previous transaction with the first rep. Honestly I'm not asking for any reply, just want to inform you that the reps need to have better empathy and perhaps actually be aware of the recent promotion. Maybe just offer "oh hey you can get more items to get to $20 and I can ring you up all together to take advantage of the rewards /sorry for the inconvenience.... Etc. Just left VS after they would not refund a bra I picked up last night that all their associates were upselling me on. I had originally gone in last night to return a bra from online that didn't fit. The associates pressured me to exchange for a different size instead of returning, but with COVID rules I couldn't try it on there and had to take it home to try on. Well, their measuring was wrong, the bra still didn't fit right, and just now they said they don't refund back to a credit card for returns on an exchange, only to a gift card. WTF? After I wanted to return my online purchase and they pressured me to do an exchange, now I can only get store credit? #61 I ran in today to scoop up a few new bras and matching V-strings as I heard they had a some new styles. I am so sold on the panties at VS that I have not worn anything else in over 10 years. If it is not Vickie's I am not wearing it. This ultra helpful sales associate greeted me, helped me find the panties I wanted and then the bras I wanted. Her name was Tahja... I am really sorry girl, IDK how to spell your name but you were so helpful and awesome, please forgive my sorry ass shout out :( Tahja helped me with everything I needed. I even told the guy at the register that I was going to find out exactly who helped me so she could get the sale/commission (and I did). I accidentally found a sexy one-piece bathing suit, and said to my GF with me, "Girl, I have never worn a one-piece, would it be sexy?" My friend was like, "Hell NO! No one looks sexy in a one-piece!!!" Thank you Ilana for snapping me into reality--I put the suit back on the rack and we moved along and looked at other things. STAFF IS HORRIBLE! 1) The girl in the front was very nice, but she did not know ANYTHING! I saw a multi-use miraculous bra sign, and saw bras next to it and asked how you use it strapless since it didn't seem like you could get it off. She looked at it and said "I'm actually not sure.. sorry about that" you couldn't get someone who is more knowledgeable than you to find out? 2) I walked around some more and a lady asked the same girl if she could try on a pair of panties. She said the same thing, "I'm actually not sure.." well what the hell are you sure of?! 3) For using the angel card this month, I get a free hip hugger. I left the coupon at home, but an asian girl in the cashier said I could just get the bar code and she can type it in. She directed me towards the front of the store to get the hip huggers. I couldn't find it, so I asked the same "not sure" lady who directed me towards the fitting room. I guess there was one thing she was sure of, yet there's another employer (in this case, the asian girl) who needs to be more knowledgeable of the store. 4) i got the free hip hugger I wanted to get, went to a mexican lady in the cashier, who told me i COULDN'T just type in the bar code and had to physically bring in the coupon. the manager also came and said they couldnt, which I think is bullshit. the mexican lady was being very rude too. The other cashier said they used to and i guess they changed the policy and apologized for it, so I should have just went back to her. i think the manager was just being stingy because you always can just type in the bar code instead of just scanning! ugh, bitches! unknowledgeable, unhelpful, and stingy workers. But wow, can I say that they have the CUTEST team apparel? I bought the cutest SF giants yoga pants and top here, which will definitely come in handy next time I go to a game. This store had a huge renovation a few years ago. When I worked here Pink was still part of the store. I found out that the girls work on commission now! I love coming here when it's their Semi Annual Sale. Recently, I purchased the VS Bombshell Bra.I had to use one of my several gift cards so I purchased this. It promises to give you 2 cups bigger. OMG. I felt like I had DDD's. I wore it last night at our GNO (I'm not posting pictures) and I looked soooo badly proportioned since I'm so short, like a midget with triple D's (LOL) It was nice for a second or two when some dudes checked out my knockers (Little do they know, haha!) but I was irritated throughout the night from all the stares, I even shouted out, pointed at my big babies and said, "OPTICAL ILLUSIONS!!!" I will ONLY wear this when I'm in Vegas or something. I don't wear their bras because they cater to chicks with little, itty, bitty boobies. Women with big knockers? Not so much. Sure, they do make larger sizes, but they just don't fit. Don't hate, VS, it's just that you don't do much for my larger cans. But panties? I do like their undies. And now, they have the new "Lacie" collection. I've been wanting to come here for a while because the ladies needed to be sized again. I started looking around and a sweet gal asked if I needed help. She sent me to the fitting room to get sized. She measured me a 32C when actually I have been wearing a 34B it all made sense why I've been angry and frustrated at my current bras. BTW I recommend getting fitted even if you really know your bra size. Their customer service is great. The store was rockin busy and all 3 ladies that I talked to all were very helpful. Anywayyyy back to my point. Once you get fitted they bring you a bunch of different bras to try on in the fitting room. It makes it so much easier if you don't feel like looking around at all the bras. The gal brought me about 8 different bras to try on. Similar to the mall itself, I both love and loathe the Victoria's Secret store. A pretty good selection overall. When they have sales, they're usually pretty good. There's something for just about every woman here ... all sorts of tastes. And price ranges. I love the Betsey Johnson stuff, but don't buy it unless it's on sale (which is rare). I think it's the customer service here that is both good and bad. It's great that they're friendly and helpful. I just get kinda weirded out by people coming up to me every three minutes to ask if I need help. I'm sure they're just told to do it. Some people I really believe they are trying to be nice. Others seem more like fembots who have the spiel down all too well, no need to blink or anything. The fitting room attendants usually just seem overworked, therefore typically not that helpful other than the basics. I like shopping here, and I don't. What else can I say? The employees here were attentive and checked in with me often. They were all kind and I didn't have any negative interactions with anyone. My only issue came when I asked to be measured again to be sure that I am wearing the correct size (it had been a couple years since I was last measured). Shizuka was the one who measured me, but she was so insanely off on her measurements I literally laughed out loud when she told me. She got my band size right, but somehow told me the cup size I should be wearing was, no joke, 3 sizes larger than I've worn for the last 10 years of my life. I know my body and I can guarantee this was not right. I'm not sure if this is just Victoria's Secrets' technique or if she was just terrible at measuring, but she was insistant that I buy this 3 sizes larger bra. Another girl came in and said it was correct too! I was so shocked that I left the store empty-handed. Naturally, this large of a discrepancy made me suspicious, so I immediately went to 2 other stores in the mall to be fitted to make sure. Lo and behold, the other 2 stores said I was wearing the right size all along. I'm glad I got other opinions because had I taken Shizuka at her word, I would have tossed out all of my bras and swapped them out with the completely wrong size. Just a word of caution ladies... Had the worst customer service experience in a long time the other day while shopping here. First off, NOBODY acknowledged my existence. I stood there obviously trying to find something, and a sales person was right next to me putting stuff away. She never bothered to ask me if she could help me or anything. Finally, after I found what I needed, I proceeded to check out. I had picked up 6 bottles of hand sanitizer that were supposed to be 3/$5. I also bought a couple of other things, but I did notice that the final price seemed to be too high. I mentioned it to the sales person, but he didn't seem to care and didn't bother to check what was going on. So I paid and left. I finally decided to just look at the receipt, and apparently I had been charged $3.50 for each bottle.....that made it so that I was paying $10.50 for 3 instead of $5 for 3 bottles. WTF? Highway robbery for sure. I returned to get my money back. I told the manager that there must be some glich in the computer and that they need to change it. She blew me off and said, "oh, that's something corporate deals with....it's nothing to do with us here." Gee, thanks for taking my concern seriously, lady. Moral of the story: If you come here, you better watch them like a hawk and make sure they don't ring you up incorrectly. I love VS bras, but cannot stand the in-store experience. I came in with a seriously limited amount of time and hoped to high hell one of the gals could help me FAST. A brunette gal spotted me and came right over. I asked for their showstopper bra and she knew exactly what I was talking about. When I asked for the strapless, she said they didn't have any -it was discontinued- but didn't skip a beat and showed me other comparable options. I didn't have time to try it on and asked if it would fit like the showstopper and she assured me that it did. It does!! I love it! Aweful customer service--- at Christmas, they changed the line from how it usually is throughout the year... They put no signage and saw us/ppl standing in the normal area for waiting. After waiting 10 minutes a nice kind elderly lady came by and said, oh there's a line over there, and pointed at a totally different direction & hidden area. My go to store 100% this location and PINK. I don't live in this area but the one closer to my home sucks. The customer service is horrible. This location has very helpful staff, they know how to help all your needs when it comes to bras and they don't seem too pushy either. They are always happy to try and use any and all coupons I have too. Note to all: BECOME AN ANGEL CARD MEMBER. Best credit card I've ever had (but I always pay it off and don't get interest) they always send me coupons and deals because of the card and I love it. You ear points here, at PINK, and even bath and body works. I love their selection here, the store is huge and if u find something and you like how it fits but they don't have your color it's very easy for them to order it for you or you can find the items online and have them sent to you that way. If you ever were to scared to get sized. DONT BE. They make you feel really comfortable and help you find just what bras will work for your body shape. They will actually help educate you on how wrong you have been at this bra game and show you how wearing the right style and fit will help you feel and look a lot better. This is not my usual shopping place. I go there a few times a year to stock up on, well, never you mind that... I went there the other day to do my twice anual stock up binge. When I was there, my lightbulb went off.. perfect place to pick up a gift card for my friend who's having a birthday! I purchased the adorable pink gift card which came with a nice card and envelope (yay! I didn't have to shop for a birthday card!) and will be the perfect gift for my birthday friend!
