I took the bra into Soma knowing they would exchange it for me since it was basically brand new and obviously defective. The ladies acted like I was insane for wanting to exchange/return the bra. They told me I was past the 60 day window for returns and they couldn't do anything. I 100% get the return policy, but this was a defective item on day 70ish. I ended up calling the 800 number and was told that since the strap broke they could swap it, then told I couldn't exchange it because it had been washed. They also told me some garbage about the life of a bra was only 90 days. Seriously? Because I know exactly zero women that wear a bra for 3 months and replace it. Soma's bras may actually only be good for 90 days because about a month later an identical bra (bought on the same day as the first one) broke in the exact same way. I have always had good experiences with Soma in the past, but I'm still in disbelief that they wouldn't stand by their products. I guess I would be less surprised if their products weren't higher end.

However, they have a very large selection and you should have no trouble finding what you are looking for here. Customer service here is above and beyond. I was approached several times asking if I needed assistance by smiling, friendly staff. When I got to the perfume section I did indeed need assistance and Joanne was just wonderful. She was very patient and kind , spraying the different scents on cards for me to smell and offering wonderful advice about the different fragrances. I had a $15 off coupon which I used towards my purchase; however, I was already back home in Florida when I realized it had not been applied. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I no longer had the coupon as they had kept it when i check out... plus I was 650 miles away. I had no actual proof that I had a coupon, but the manager handled the situation superbly. She went into the system and applied the $15 credit back to my VS credit card. She was so pleasant to speak with and couldn't have handled the situation better. The employees are the reason this particular VS store gets 5 Yelpie stars from me. You just can't beat outstanding customer service and leaving a store smiling because of the employees. Southern hospitality at its finest will be found here!

As clearance sections go, there generally isn't a great deal of organization at any store, so I'm not going to gripe. For blouses, skirts, dresses, regular jeans, and clothing items they have a good selection and you shouldn't have a problem finding your size. Note: for those who have been living under a rock, Lane Bryant sells clothing for voluptuous women. They have a nice assortment of costume jewelry, and though the selection of shoes is minimal, I always find several pairs that are super cute. They have storewide sales quite often aand always have large signs in the windows advertising what percentage they are offering off your purchase. The lowest I have seen has been 40% off and the most I have seen has been 75% off. Unless you are needing something right now, the best time to shop here is when they have one of their super sales going on, so be on the lookout for the signs in the window and then go in and have yourself a major shopping spree!
