First time I had Victorio's since I was in high school. Great pizza and service. Pizza was ready to pick up on time and was excellent.

I lived in Alliance for 19 years (moved out in 1974). and then moved away for 35 years. On a quick trip to alliance, my sister suggested Victorio's. I ordered 2- small pizzas. One pepperoni and one ham- pineapple. The pizza's are thin crust and very favor full. The amount of toppings for the ham- pineapple where lacking, but the pepperoni toppings was a good amount. Overall pizza rating, 3. Not the worst, not the best, but the thin crust is the best part. read more

Since I am Alliance Man, born and raised, this is perhaps the oldest Pizza shop in town.....been around since the 1950's. I graduated AHS, class of 1955......moved to a big city to become a pro Trumpeter..... On March 16th, 2019 I returned to Alliance, my hometown! Guess What? C and I were staying overnight in Alliance, on a mission to photograph the University of Mount Union. Although Victorio's was much further from our hotel than was E of C, we opted to go the distance, based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. Victorio's is old school and our favorite kind of pizza; the real "Chicago style" pizza that we grew up with: Thin pizza, cut into squares. The good: The was was quite tasty and ready on time. The bad: The guys behind the counter were none too polite. No "thank you" and no small talk. Too bad. Also, the sausage didn't seem to have fennel. Here's the thing y'all: I DON'T EVEN LIKE THIN CRUST PIZZA! I almost always gravitate toward a doughy, thick, hearty crusted pizza. But Victorio's? Seriously astoundingly good. Been eating it since I was a kid and I HAVE to have it every time I go back to Ohio to see my family. Also, it's soooo cheap! Where I live (Scottsdale, AZ) a large pizza almost everywhere costs DOUBLE what Victorio's charges! The only two cons? It's carryout only and in a horrible neighborhood, but the taste of this pizza negates both of those facts. They put some delicious seasonings on this pizza to give it a unique, authetically Italian flavor. I've never had anything like it to be honest and I doubt I ever will. Personally, I prefer a thicker dough on the pie. Victorio's I would easily compare to a Papa John's style pie, but certainly an upgrade on the ingredients side. It's well worth a visit, but like I said if you prefer thicker dough this isn't your place. read more

The best pizza in Alliance. While all the chains are falling all over themselves to find a trendy gimmick, Victorio's keeps it simple: thin crust pizza. If you don't like thin crust try it anyway. The combination of herbs and seasonings along with fresh toppings is the greatest ever. I've been in the area 20 years and their pizza has stood the test of time-consistently delicious, and done on time. Victorio's is in a neighborhood that has seen better days. Don't let that get in the way of picking up a fresh pie. They only do call in/pick up and there's no place to eat there unless you want to eat in your car! read more

A great pizza shop. Alliance is lucky to have it in the forest of chain pizza places around here. Second best in my opinion only to Napoli in town, and maybe third best when the former Pisanello's was in operation under the late Mafalda Pisanello. Victorio's is just about the oldest family-run pizza place still open in town (though not under the original family anymore, but the Italian-American Marazza family now). It is a round pizza served with a cracker-thin crust with square-cut pieces in the St. Louis/Chicago style known as party-cut, so everyone grabs for the edge pieces first. The paper bags the pizzas are served in are nostalgic. Carry-out only though.. All in all a great value for the pie. read more

Great pizzza. Looking for something to eat on a late Sunday on yelp and found this pizza joint open. I was in from out of town and there was nothing else open but your usual fAst food joints. Decided to trY and was pleasantly surprised. I called from my hotel room and they said it would be a $5 up charge for delivery and I definitely wasn't going too pay that especially since I was about 8 miles from the location. Great pizza. That is all there is here. Pizza and breadsticks. No subs, no salad.....so they really concentrate on pizza. There is also a white sauce pizza. The pizza is not packaged in a box, but in a wax bag which retains heat while preventing the pizza from becoming soggy. I enjoy finding new places that I've never been, especially quaint unusual shops and such. In a online search I came across a pizza place called Victorio's... now to be completely honest the info I found was mostly posted by locals and yahoo reviewers- but sounded promising. The info I found claimed that the joint had classic brick ovens and AMAZING pizza. After making the trip out- I found the truth somewhat different... First off, when deciding to visit this pizza shop- I strongly recommend you bring a weapon of your choosing to give you that "safe" feeling. I don't know if you've ever been to Alliance, but there are certainly some neighborhoods that leave 'something to be desired' to say the least. We followed the map off the beaten path into a seedy little neighborhood- certain that I had the directions wrong. However when rounding a corner, little Victorio's peeked bashfully out from under an awning, complete with two parking spots right on the street in front of it's doors. We drove past thinking that there must be an additional place to park, and eat- maybe a second building or something... no. With the dark looming and sure that yellow eyes of all the zombie movies I had ever seen were leering from behind dilapidated houses, we parked and went in. The inside of the pizza shop was warm and cozy, so cozy in fact that there were 4 whole chairs to sit on while waiting for your order... I had come with the impression that there was at least a few tables to eat at. Three boys hand tossed the dough to a perfect round on the right and the owner watched the counter and manned the very modern stoves. Now I must say the interior was cute, and homey... and the toppings selection they offered was quite good. We placed our orders and took a seat to wait, since waiting in the car in this neighborhood seemed to be tempting fate. Several people came and went, all seemed to be upstanding citizens and really nice people, nodding and smiling or carrying on small talk with us while they waited. The pictures of the original owner (I assume the current owner's Grandfather) and the Vicorios family adorned the wall. We sat and watched the boys tossing pizzas, filling orders and listening to a ball game on the tv perched precariously above their heads. Finally our pizza was complete and we paid (cash or check only). The owner packed the pizzas in paper bags, and we stepped out the door- into the waiting presence of one smelly greasy man. He asked for change through yellowed teeth. Keeping our heads down and quickly unlocking the car, we told him we really had no cash... having just paid for the pizza with our last check. We got into the car as the owner came out and in a typical Italian manor stood up to the junkie and told him he could not stand out front his shop and harass his customers. As we drove away, watching the owner go back in, and the dirty little man saunter off- my heart went out to the owner and his family. A family owned business that has treated people to their trade in this same location since 1956. The filth of this neighborhood grew up around them! I'm sure in it's day this was a working class neighborhood, complete with mom and pop who worked for an honest living. Suffice to say- it is that no more! I would never take my kids there, even just to pick up a phoned in order! Back to the food... we had a 40 minute drive home, which proved to be challenging balancing two pizza's on cardboard rounds packed in paper bags. I watched helplessly as the pizza's rapidly cooled, knowing that first steaming hot bite is what makes or breaks a pizza! Once home we tore into the wrapping and uncovered beautiful thin crust pizza's that still smelled divine! The generosity of the toppings and quality of ingredients shown through... I just wish it had been at least a little warm. All in all, great pizza, terrible packaging and a very sorry location made the decision for me... My quest for great pizza will not be completed by Victorio's. The acid indigestion I would get from the fear of having to go pick up my pizza while carrying a weapon for safety, ruins any great tasting concoction! read more

It had been a while since having it but i was home not too long agao and we ordered to family size which is HUGE and all my family ate and was full and satisfied! Thier dough is flipped and their ingredients are fresh. Nothing has changed since they opened too many many years ago, the only things is faces have changed but they carry on the ethics of the original Owners and family!
