Emails, texts, calls and going in person to their office does not get me a response or answers. I still have NO answer as to why child support and custody orders have not been filed. We have no court date established to discuss these terms. Jill, the paralegal has never answered why temporary orders were never filed. I have written documentation asking her this over SIX times with no answer. She has not responded to me since July 17th. I went to their office to get answers on August 4th and neither attorney was willing to meet with me. I cannot understand why after retaining this firm over 10 weeks ago, they have failed to do what I paid them for. I feel lied to. If they were too busy to handle my case, they shouldn't have taken my $4500. I have since fired them and sent a demand email a week ago requesting my client file, any documentation, accounting and unearned portion of my legal fees paid. I am fairly certain this will be going to arbitration and complaints filed with the state bar association. After having a few consultations with other firms, I have been told that this is not unique to them-- this is a common complaint they are known for. Proceed with caution with this law firm. The front desk girls are nice, but are only able to provide apologies and zero clarity.
