The people are great, but their mobile deposit department is ridiculous. They don't read the notes…read moreif you have one for an increase in your deposit. So they decline your deposit. You can't check mark the mobile deposit only and write MCB on the preprinted area. They decline it. You have to write in the tiny space. That tiny space is not big enough, so their system cuts off words and they decline it. Them declining because of their extraness has caused so many late fees for me and they just don't care.

The people are wonderful and I like that refunds and deposits are available usually immediately. I…read moredo love those things about MCB. Unfortunately they have their downfalls... things I have had to deal with that I've never dealt with at any other bank I've ever had. I've "validated" that it was us trying to make a purchase numerous times with their fraud prevention tools (text validation and call-in to fraud line), even spoke to someone at the branch themselves, they and their validation tools told me I'd be good to try it again and have no problems, and still was declined over and over and over and over again due to being flagged as fraud. At this moment I still haven't been allowed to make the purchase. What is the point of validating, even speaking directly to someone at the branch to do so, if they will still continue to not allow the purchase? Also, if you use your debit card or an autopay bill comes out and pulls your account negative any amount (could be negative 68 cents) before 2:00 PM, say 1:58 PM, then you realize it and move money into your account for example from a separate non-MCB affiliated bank or by pulling funds from PayPal or whatever at 2:05 PM, you will still incur an overdraft fee. It doesn't matter if it's only a difference of 7 minutes. You will not be charged an overdraft fee if you go negative at 1:29PM and add funds the same way as stated above by 1:59PM. The only way you can go negative before 2 and be able to bring it positive after 2 without getting an OD fee is by going into the branch and depositing money before 5PM. When looking at it from a banker's perspective with processing times in mind, it makes sense. From a consumer's perspective, however, it doesn't make sense. It is also confusing "this and this is okay but if you do it with a debit card it isn't okay, also a two minute difference can make it not okay as well" WHAT THE HECK?! They're sort of becoming a bit of a joke in my eyes.
