It was one of those first-bite moments where you just stop and look at your food like... wait. What is this magic? The bread was perfect, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The sauce was incredible, flavorful without overpowering everything else. And somehow they made the carrots taste amazing. Carrots! I don't know what they're doing back there, but it works. I paired it with a Vietnamese coffee and that sealed the deal. Rich, bold, slightly sweet, exactly what you want. Instantly, this became one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. I was so excited about it that I brought my kids back that weekend, only to realize they weren't open. Total heartbreak. Sorry I have to change my review , this place used to be very good I used to hope I would be in the area to stop by. But I came by today and ordered food and ate there. I tried their new An-Hanoi sandwich . It was not good imo. The bread just so stale and not how a banhmi sandwich should be . It was really cold . The bread felt like it was weeks old. The meat inside was tasty but overall the bread just ruined the sandwich. The egg rolls are still great here tho. But my mom and wife shared the beef bowl and said the beef had no flavor . The restaurant is located in the Stafford/Sugarland area. It's easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I came on a random Saturday and it wasn't too busy. Customer service could have been better. It took awhile for anyone to acknowledge me. The staff seemed like young kids more interested in talking with each other and their friends in the store. They had loud music playing with lots of cussing which I'm ok with, but not in a family friendly banh mi shop. Once they were ready to take my order, they also didn't seem to know their menu too well. I didn't want to ask too many more questions so I just ordered what I read was some of their popular items. Banh mi is what they are known for so I went with the pork banh mi. I also got an order of the Mom's Egg Rolls as I read it was a popular item as well. I would have got a specialty drink but didn't want to bother the staff with too many questions about what's good or recommended. The food came out fairly quick. The sandwich was a decent size, on par with other banh mi spots. The bread was a nice baguette that was soft inside but nice and flaky on the outside. At first glance the sandwich looked solid with all the usual, fresh veggies on top. My complaint was that they skimped a little on the pork. Ordering process was straightforward and efficient. Good came fast. Excellent menu selection to choose from, I went basic with the classic pork banh mi. Ordered it with everything. It was delicious. The baguette was ethereal with a crisp crust crackled with every bite. Pork was plentiful, tender and rich with lemongrass grilled flavor. The veggies were fresh and pickled daikon and carrots added that characteristic banh mi flavor. Went with a coworker friend for lunch, and I got an Enoki Tofu sandwich with extra mayo. They charged extra for the mayo which the cashier did not advise. The sandwich was really good, so that was nice. I also got the mango strawberry smoothie, which was not a smoothie. It was more like mango juice with a variety of jelly on the bottom. The drink was decent, but I had wanted a smoothie instead. They should really correct this on the menu since it isnt an actual smoothie mix with strawberry. My coworker also did not like her drink, and she overheard another customer complaining about theirs. The restaurant is also clean. We were able to get a table to dine in there. Finally got around to trying this place! It's a very casual establishment: you order at the counter (or order ahead online), pick up your food, and you can either eat at one of the few tables they have, or take it to go. That being said, though, the place is very clean and has a nice atmosphere! The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I ordered the Vietwich Classic Pork. It was a really solid Banh Mi. It's located in a small shopping center in Stafford. Don't be fooled by the exterior, there's great sandwiches here. They have a variety of banh mi to choose from (the meatball, special, pork, chicken, beef and a vegetarian option). They also have lots of smoothies, teas, and coffee drinks to choose from. First, I got my coffee and it was exactly what I expected. . . Sweet, strong coffee, delicious. I then got my sandwich and here is where it went wrong. The moment I opened my sandwich and grabbed half, I felt the bun/ bread and it was HARD. I ate the middle 2/3 and then the croutons hard bread became to hard to eat. I tried to bite the second half of my sandwich and it was just as bad as the other half. Vietwich lives up to the hype! After seeing them make the Yelp Top 100 restaurants list, I knew I had to check this place out ASAP. I really liked the local neighborhood-y vibes this place has, and you don't have to deal with the busy traffic of Bellaire Chinatown area. Walking into their clean interior, we were immediately greeted by the owner, and 1 of the girls on staff. They were both really friendly, and gave us a quick rundown of their banh mi options, as well as their different drink options. We came some what near closing time, but luckily the only thing they had run out of for the day was the "dac viet" banh mi ingredients. We decided to try their vietwich classic beef, vietwich classic pork, and enoki tofu banh mi's, as well as a Vietnamese coffee to wash it all down. Adding a fried egg and crispy shallots is a game changer, definitely opt in for these flavorful add-ons, trust me! The unique option, enoki tofu, was for sure the crowd favorite. I haven't seen this type of banh mi anywhere, but it was SO GOOD! The Vietnamese coffee was just the "cherry on top" for this quick, tasty, and affordable lunch. Took a couple minutes to place order as everyone who worked their was busy preparing food then waited about another ten minutes for the food. I recently started a new job in Stafford so I've been looking at all the restaurants nearby as lunch options! Vietwich came up during my search and I decided to order some take out via UberEats! I ordered the Vietwich Classic, which is the traditional Banh mi dac biet! It was filled with a good amount of meat and picked veggies.. I don't think it taste like the traditional Banh mi I'm used to, maybe it's missing that pate, but I thought the Banh mi was a bit lighter in flavor. I enjoyed the quality and how fresh all the ingredients were, but I think it was missing something.. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back to try the ones they're known for! After draining our wallets at Costco, we needed a recovery meal. This place is conveniently located a few minutes away from Costco business center. There is a walk up counter where you order. They have about 5-6 sandwich options and some boba drinks. The girls working behind the counter were super nice. My wife got the enoki tofu, and I got the Vietwich classic beef. Both our banh mi's were very delicious, although I think the enoki tofu had too much sauce for my liking - overall pretty solid sandwiches. One thing I wish was an option in the menu is sandwich + drink combos for a cheaper price for the people eating out on a budget. Vietwich has very solid banh mi considering you're getting it right at the Stafford-Sugar Land border. It has all the classic ingredients you expect, but there's also a tofu/mushroom one for those of the herbivorous persuasion. Also, they have a pretty decent chicken noodle soup, it's quite homemade and fresh, just wish it didn't come in a plastic container. Why I might not go to Vietwich as often as the Chinatown legends is definitely the price, $7-8 is quite a bit to swallow, and they're just a tad shorter as well. The value isn't quite there for me, but if you're like the swarm of kids getting off class at Dulles, it is quite convenient if you don't like to fight through Beltway 8. read more

I now see why this place is top in Texas. My wife and I came on a whim and it was great. The sandwiches are amazing full of flavor in every bite. The boba are just as amazing. The service is top notch as the owner is right on the front lines with his other works making drinks and welcoming customers as they walk in through the front door. Small place and it stays busy, but the food is fresh and service is amazing. If you are in the area stop by and give them a try. The softness of the inside of baguette with the crunchiness of it is a great mix. The service was great, the food was great and the boba drinks were good as well. The Dac Viet only needed a runnier egg to complete this sandwich as it was over-hard instead of over easy. I got the Vietwich Classic Pork. The lemongrass grilled pork was not overpowering and had a nice balance of flavor with the rest of the crisp ingredients. We got the Hawaiian sunset with light Boba and the taro coconut drink.
