This caused embarrassment to me and to the staff member who'd run it past the manager. To make matters worse the coffee which I'd then paid for was terrible - very bitter. There were 250 people at the convention, all of whom received a voucher. If all were rejected that's a whole lot of bad karma! I'll finish by saying that the bakery goods were very nice.
