Back wall and space--coffee grinder in the distance!

I wanted a quick spot to relax on a day off from work and found vigilante. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool spot with cool people working there, I can see why the place is popular for college students and wfh enthusiasts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a small classic açaí bowl with no blueberries and an iced matcha. When they say small, they mean it but it's honestly just enough. The açaí was honestly a highlight for me and I'd easily come back for it.

In all honesty, I only went in with family to purchase some coffee beans. I'm not familiar with sitting down and enjoying coffee at the location. It seemed to be a pretty chill with folks on the computers or enjoying conversation. The music in the background, not too loud and anyone seems friendly. They were folks outside and enjoying the beautiful outdoor weather and having conversation so maybe next time. What we did was purchase several bags of coffee beans. They were very flavorful, great aroma throughout the room. I also bought a banana pecan slice and forgot to take a pic. Hopefully, before I leave town, I'll be able to come back and sit and soak up the atmosphere.

Ever since I started coming the costumer service is getting down the hill. I order two coffees, food and a bag of beans. Got my food, beans and waiting for ever for my coffees until I asked the cashier, they said I got then no I didn't. They made one coffee and said the cashier didn't charged for the other ugh, they weren't even busy to be doing that. No coffee for me I guess.

I've been to Vigilante Coffee many times at both the Hyattsville and College Park locations. During warmer months it's usually packed on weekends, so the slower pace in colder weather felt expected. I ordered online and grabbed the 16 oz salted maple latte. Smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. Their mocha is also really good and always consistent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's one of those spots where you'll see people holding meetings, studying, or casually linking up with neighbors from outside their own area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer plenty of drink and food options, and the croissants I've tried have always been fresh. I also love being able to see the coffee machines in action. The staff is consistently friendly and smiling, which makes you want to keep coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you're near either location.

A very cute little coffee for a Boxing Day bevs and pastries.

I'm the Queen of some place new, and this first time visit to a neighborhood coffee shop did not disappoint. I got a peppermint matcha and my mom went for the eggnog latte. We demolished both beverages, dunking our peppermint mocha biscotti's merrily along the way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is cute and has the perfect vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Working during the holidays can be challenging so I'll extend grace to the waitstaff who did their jobs efficiently and kindly (though I could sense their general fatigue). All and all, I will definitely be returning!

I'm finally back at one of my favorite local coffee shops - it never fails! Enjoyed my hot vanilla-lavender latte and my kuign aman (pistachio-honey) pastry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the spacious and airy restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The coffee is always incredible. It is roasted in house and always fresh. Seasonal flavors are always great. The food is tasty and always satisfying. Service is always great and the atmosphere inside and outside is lovely. It is usually busy, but you never wait long.

My cappuccino was delightful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop and roastery was cute and had a great atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just stopped in for a grab n go coffee but I'll be back for sure!

I finally dined in and tried an açaí bowl! It was outstanding and the presentation was 10/10!!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love coming to vigilante during our morning walks as they are pet friendly as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Maple Spiced Latte made with Oat Milk was delicious! Love at FRIST SIP! Wish they had the Almond Croissant they offer on their menu! [[HIGHLIGHT]]But all in all service was great, the vibes were great...and perfect weather to sit outside on the benches, enjoying a nice cup of JO! Or tea...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer some other breakfast treats and other pastry items and cookies. Maybe I'll try something to accompany my drink next time ;))) But for now this Biscoff cookie that came with my drink will have to do! Happy Yelping!

Went because I bought the Maryland cafe passport. The recommended drink was hot vanilla latte. My husband got a mocha. I was a little upset that they only offered whole milk and then nut milks. I was forced to get the vanilla latte as it comes. I usually instantly take off at least 1 star just on that fact. However, once I took a sip of my drink, it was like an out of body experience it was so good. My husband was blown away and instantly noticed it was REAL ingredients. Real chocolate in the mocha and vanilla bean in the vanilla latte. No syrups. No wonder their menu is a little basic. It doesn't need anything extra to stand out. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur. I don't rate many coffee places over the moon. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.

This coffee shop in Hyattsville may be the only reason why I'd even visit there in the first place. This spacious coffee shop has an indoor and outdoor section where there's a lot of space for anyone. Whether it be a group or just you, there's always somewhere to sit and I appreciate that. Like most coffee shops, Vigilante Coffee serves hot drinks like coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold drinks like cold brew coffee, iced lattes, and lemonade. There's also the option for pastries if you are into that, along side with fruit bowls and bagels if you need food too. I got a regular latte for my visit and a almond croissant which seems to be my go to pairing when I go to a cafe. You place an order and they call by your order number for you to pick up at the counter. I was impressed at the latte art, it is pretty when you receive your cup of coffee. The almond crossaint was also really good too! If there was a closer location I'd no doubt say this is one of the best coffee shops in NoVA but for now, it's one of my favorites in MD!

I ordered a biscuit with jam, a chocolate chip pecan cookie, and donut for my daughter. I only went for a quick treat but they were placing out some fresh made sandwiches that looked good. The apple and cheddar sandwich sounds good so I'd come back to try it. I didn't see the coffee menu until after placing my order but they do offer espresso and lattes. The cookie was delicious and had a slight salty flavor that complemented it well. The biscuit was good too but tasted healthy. I would order it again. I would revisit Manifest Bread to try more of their menu items. The service was great, there was room to sit inside and there's a dedicated parking lot. Parking is challenging at peak times. The selection of baked goods is varied and fresh. The line to buy items can get long. There's a decent-sized space to "eat-in", should you want. The sweet potato/chili/pistachio bialy is quite a creation, really like it, zings big time. I've never seen that flavor combo in a bialy before and hope they keep making it. The gingerbread with meyer lemon glaze has a very deep ginger flavor that's quite memorable. Not as keen about the breads. The community sandwich loaf is too plain for me and the sourdough breads are tame.

Somehow, I had only been to this place during the winter time, but it is a completely different vibe during the warmer months. The outdoor space is stunning, and everything just feels brighter and happier. The staff are really nice, the patrons are enjoying themselves, and they just have excellent food. My friend and I happen to come during this fashion show event so there were complimentary hors d'oeuvres for everybody present, but we still ordered delicious deviled eggs (I could've eaten a whole tray of them) and had some great cocktails. You know, for the first time ever, I paid attention to a bunch of board games that they have on a shelf. But based on the stuff that's on the shelf in front of them, I am not 100% sure that they are up for grabs, but it still looks cool. Anyone who is in this area should definitely pay them a visit. My friend and I showed up for a late lunch, and after I stood waiting for service for almost five minutes, the bartender finally came closer to me and said the kitchen was closed. Also, I had previously visited this restaurant for happy hour and found the food and service to be average.

One of the main mead ingredients is honey, which explains why they use a bee as their logo. They offer free tastings of all of their meads, and most of them can be in a flight of 3-5oz pours, depending on ABV. The Zanzibar and Mead Marian were my favorites -- one was their standard, and the other was their strongest. They were a lot of cool ones in between, like one having a coffee flavor, one being spicy, some being combined with fruits.... there was a lot of fun to be had tasting all of those. The honey taste really comes out most of the time. They don't make their own food, but they offer some snacks and sell patties and desserts from Shortcake Bakery, the shop next door. I had a chicken and veggie patty -- both were delicious and flaky! It also ended up being a night when a live performer was playing. I was devastated to see that I had just missed karaoke the night before though. The band was AWESOME, I have to say... very funky, and they weren't too loud either for the space. Some folks from my party got up dancing, so that's a good sign yeah?? All in all, I'd delightfully come back here just to hang out. Did I mention they have a bunch of board games? Pro tip: parking outside is EXTREMELY limited -- overflow is at the park across the street from Shortcake Bakery. After a certain time, you need to grab a pass from inside Meadworks.
