We love coming over to the island as it is so relaxing. We stopped by the winery and had a tasting accompanied with a pizza. We definitely recommend stopping by. Tables outside right next to the grapes. Beautiful landscape with a view of the Falls. The pizzas are shareable by two of you want a snack. Otherwise, consider it more like a portion for one if you are hungry. Crust was so soft. Ingredients are very fresh.

This was a great visit! As an American intimidated by the prospect of visiting and asking questions at a French Canadian winery, the people I talked to there were super friendly. The wines were on the drier side but there was a good amount of variety. For the tasting, you can buy a card loaded with swipes that cost $2 CAD per pour, and there are machines where you swipe the card and choose a 2 ounce pour of the wine. The view was pretty, parking was easy, and walking around the wine yard is free!

Great wines and great deserts to go with it! The views are great too! Can't wait to come back! My only criticism would be how they do the wine tastings, you just pour yourself an ounce from a machine... takes the fun from sitting down and trying them all...

5 stars to this beautiful Winery! We loved visiting the small Ile d'Orleans and tasting wine at VSP! The view is unbeatable and it was so relaxing to sip on their lovely wine on the patio. Staff was very helpful and the prices for the wines were very reasonable! We loved the dessert wines and took home both the red and the white as souvenirs! Would definitely visit again.

Just A short drive from Quebec. The tasting room is small but Apple. Very affordable. Three Canadian dollars for five samples. There's also a restaurant. The restaurant was very good. You can buy a bottle of wine from the tasting room and bring it to the restaurant. It was a lovely afternoon. I highly recommend going to.

This was one of the best winery's I've ever been to, the price for tasting 5 wines is 8 dollars if not less. The scenery is beautiful especially around the evening. Attached to the winery is a food truck restaurant hybrid where you can sip your wine you just bought or purchase a glass and enjoy the view. The people are so kind and knowledgeable.

An early October journey thru the Orleans island was wonderful, and many stops to choose from. The Cassis production was unique and offer a self guided educational tour. We learned about their history fruit and production in this building. Then went across the yard to the tasting room and gift shop and restaurant bar area. A lot of good things happening here. But It was so busy I waited at the counter to order a cocktail made with cassis but no one was there to help me. So I went to taste the samples of thier products and the gal was less than knowledgeable and the samples were restricted to two thimble tastes. Ok I get it very popular place. I bought an us-tasted madeira in hopes it's quality. This place it really a hit but the service didn't deliver.

The grilled cheese and fries were both cooked super well and hit the spot. The duck poutine was also good, but I will say the gravy was a little fruity from the blackcurrant which wasn't my favorite. Additionally, we tried the blackcurrant sorbet, which wasn't bad but was quite tart. All in all a good experience though and would recommend checking it out!

My review of this verger is mainly of their boutique store and not of the actual orchards and…read morequality of their apples. I was here much too early in the season to enjoy fresh apples. I hope to come back in season and check out their varietals of apples and hopefully some of the extremely crunch and ultra juicy and delicious honey crisp. Looking back on one of the great gems of the province of Quebec is the apple orchards that we have in areas of the province. When. I first moved here I was introduced to the fall activity of "cuilleur des pommes" (picking apples) which I believe is the most fantastic family activity for fall. For me this is a right of fall to take a tractor ride take a big 10 pound bag and fill it full of the most juicy-tart apples that you take home to make sauce, pies and apple crisps. Living in the Montreal region we tend to go to orchards nearby in Laval or if we want a treat St Joseph Du Lac. SJDL is the premiere area on the north shore with many orchards and places that do cider also. They do still cider, sparkling cider and the creme de la creme "cidre du glace" iced apple cider. There is also jams, jellies and fresh apple juice available. Most all cideries do multiple products. I've never been to the Rougemont area on the S Shore but I imagine orchards produce similar products. Fast forward to Ciderie et Verger St Nicolas. I had some inside information that this was the premiere place for apple related products in the QC Capital region. So..... I told myself I had to stop by here. After a quick look in their shop they have more products than any of the orchards in the Montreal area that vie visited. Their selections of jams, jellies, fresh fruit syrups juice and ciders is impeccable. On my visit I was fortunate they had some fresh apple sauce. I bought six bottles in large and small. The flavour is unlike any sauce nice had before. It's so silky you could feed to a baby but so tasty it's incredibly fresh. Also they had Apple must- sparkling apple juice made with Honey crisp apples. We cracked a bottle on the weekend and it was the best sparkling apple juice I've had. Not too sweet but so fresh and crisp in flavour. I purchased a bunch of jellies and other products including their iced cider. Folks.....this is the best orchard- cider producer I've visited in the province. Their products I will declare I find are better than anywhere I've had in the Montreal region. It's 15 minutes from the Pierre Laporte bride on the S shore of Quebec City. So damm good I will be back to spend another boatload of money it's that amazing!
