Over prized and greacy food. Wanted to have take away and asked for forks and knives - was advised to go to the grocery store.

This was a quite good burger. I'm a bit spoiled with great burgers, but this was good. However, as with so many other nice burger places its too much focus on the meat and less on the dressing and type of cucumber - none. This place is made for hangouts, with board games and couches (or tables), perfect for an evening with friends. To fit into this focus the price of beer has to be lower. 7€ for a normal beer is too much for hangouts. The place is big, and nice. The staff was not as good on recommending stuff, they went strictly on the menu. I'm not interested in the menu, I just said I want THE burger. With cheese, without bacon, please. "But which burger? this one might be good for you?" and the waiter pointed at something in the menu. When I want THE burger, its probably not on the menu.. ;) Still, it is good burgers. I like good burgers. As Arnold would have said, "I'll be back!"

The atmosphere has a dark underground feel (literally). Reindeer happens to be a popular delicacy, so I treated myself to the reindeer burger, prepared medium rare. This burger was amazing, lean with a great flavor. If your out wandering around Helsinki, I would recommend trying out this restaurant/Bar.

Looks like I'm the odd ball out here by saying that I wasn't impressed and yes, that "meh, I've…read moreexperienced better". I came here last night with a colleague who in turn had come here because this place had been recommended to him. From the outside (and even from the inside), this place really looks nice and it actually has the vibe that I like: casual, chilled-out and a bit jumbled-up. But let's face it, I came here for the food and according to my friend's friend and some other Yelpers, this place has supposed to have amazing food! Well, not yesterday: I ordered the "Parmesan French Fries" as a starter and while these can be amazing, they were a glimpse of what was yet to come: honestly, it looked and tasted like they were fried yesterday, sprinkled with parmesan and then heated up in the microwave just before we ordered them. Next up was the "Fish of the day" with apple-horseradish and fried barley. Sounds yummy again - true...but it actually wasn't. (By the way, while it says "Today's Fish" on the English menu, it says Salmon on the Finnish one.) So, the salmon was bland, the horseradish was as spicy and uninventive as Miracle Whip and the fried barely...well, it was fried, so it actually was tasty - but for the wrong reasons! Nevertheless, I finished it all, because "der Hunger treibt's rein"! (A German saying, which means that if you're hungry, you pretty much don't care and eat anything.) So overall, I thought this was a let-down and I ain't be coming back - definitely not for the food. As I said, the atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately that didn't do the trick for me.

The place was mostly empty -- it was the middle of the week, so no problem finding a table at least. The one staff member was friendly, and even stopped by our table for last call. But drink wise, the real problem was selection. Really limited choices for Helsinki nightlife. Sure, you can argue this is more of a cafe or bistro place but if you're open at night and your kitchen is closed, then you're effectively a bar and customers have expectations. Sorry to be harsh, but standing at the desk reminded me of a hotel room mini bar. So it was a below average experience for me -- I doubt I'll be back.

Ravintola Konstan Mölja offers a buffet of traditional Finnish food in a cozy, decorated dining…read moreroom. The friendly server explained to us all the different dishes, starting with the huge array of cold appetizers. There were three different kinds of pickled herring, mashed boiled eggs, butter, beets, lingonberries, caviar, red onion, sour cream, pickles, quinoa salad, mushroom salad, cucumbers, sauerkraut, potato salad, pickled artichokes, several kinds of breads, and Karelian pasties (a potato filling baked in a rye crust). The soup of the day was the traditional Finnish creamy salmon soup, made with chunks of salmon, potatoes, and lots of different vegetables and herbs in a milky broth. For the hot entrees and sides, the Slavic Chicken Stew was made with chicken, potatoes, peppers, leeks, and other vegetables in a sweet and savory sauce flavored with blue cheese; and the Sautéed Moose was made of shredded moose meat flavored with warm spices including bay leaves and juniper berries. The sides included Barley, Mashed Potatoes, and Honey Roasted Root Vegetables (carrots, beets, green beans, and parsnips). The drinks included the standard coffee and tea, served with both dairy and oat milks; but the most unique drink was the 1% homemade ale, which had a sweet, fruity taste and light consistency. My favorite items from the huge selection of dishes included the mushroom salad (chopped mushrooms in a sour cream dressing) and the sautéed moose (which almost tasted like meaty, lean beef), but everything was high quality, delicious, and came at an unbelievable value for lunch. Definitely a great restaurant for sampling a bunch of different traditional Finnish foods!
