When I contacted Josh, I told him that I would be moving within the week and I would like to have 3 guys to help me move since I needed to do it between a certain time so I can still drop off my daughter and pick her up on time. He was able to FaceTime me and check out my apartment to let me know if it was possible and he said that he can make it happen. So this moving company will do everything for you. they will pack all your stuff for you if you need it. They provide everything boxes, tape, wrap, and blankets to protect your valuables. The day of the move LUIS, FERNANDO, and JUAN came. I had already packed the majority of my apartment in boxes because I was planning on moving everything myself but there was a few things I didn't box up and they were able to do it for me. I have a two bed two bath apartment and they were able to grab everything and load up the truck in two hours! I swear these guys hustled! They wrapped my dresser, tv stand, tv to protect it from damage. When we got to my new place (which is about an hour and a half away) they also were so fast and efficient. And they finished on time for me to go back and pick up my daughter. Thinking about my original plan I don't think we could've done it safely and efficiently like they did. Now I wouldn't want to move any other way! I get so worried because I hear horror stories about your belongings getting damaged but I promise you won't regret this moving company! Communication for setting up the move was flawless! The foreman was helpful communicating day of but unfortunately these were the only good experiences from our move. Day of the movers were not professional or helpful. It took them forever to anything. They were supposed to help pack up the remaining kitchen items but it took three men four hours to load two beds including mattresses, three desks and chairs, one large dresser, two TVs and 10 boxes. They recorded my dog barking on their phone?, were loudly expressing their discontent for having to work, and left two huge holes in our hardwood floors. We ended up paying $800 plus tip. read more

Great movers: responsible, careful about moving furniture, happy to move things around of what is there at the new home so the brought in pieces of furniture could be fitted in. I personally boxed the fragile and light household items & art so I can't vouch for their packIng skills of "delicates", but the heavier stuff was moved just fine. When I contacted VikIng, their response time was prompt. I told them the nature of my move so they could determine the size of truck as well as guesstimating how many men would be needed. I asked for a specific date and time which worked with their own work schedule. Since the reserved day was about 3 weeks away, my appoIntment was reconfirmed about a few days before which was important since my scheduling of the move was based on various factors. On the day of the move, Viking called to give me an ETA so I could be prepared when they got there. Move went very smoothly. When it came time to move the old refrigerator from out of the kitchen to the garage at the new house so that a new fridge could be put in the kitchen later, the headman created a strategy to be the least disruptive as possible. Only snafu came when a workman reconstructed the sleight bed with a few parts left over & didn't let me know about it until I discovered the extra parts in a plastic bag after they had left. The strategic mistake was not letting the workman who took apart the bed to put it back together. However, the bed seems fine so I not going to dwell on it. All in all, it was a good move. The estimated time to do the job was within accuracy. Reasonable cost and minimum of hassles. I recommend VikIng if you are plannIng a move. read more

Awesome service! I just got moved today by Luis and Eddy, and it was top notch service from start to finish. I really enjoyed having the Viking Moving company service me for my move and move all of my things, because they were always professional (right from the very first phone call), and super friendly! Luis and Eddy (the two gentlemen who came to move me out) especially worked tirelessly and quickly as they moved all of my stuff (and it was a LOT! ) from my back house to my new condo! My condo has stairs and even that wasn't any trouble for them! I don't know how they did it! That was very hard work, but they did it with a smile. They were super prepared as well, and gave me great tips on how the move could be easier for me. This is my 2nd time using Viking. The first time the movers they sent were super efficient and professional. They got the job done in under the 3 hr minimum and we were able to have a few laughs at the end. This time around the movers they sent are super slow, and my husband is having to work right along with them to keep things moving. They started my move at 3:30 and seemed very tired and worn out from the start, which is understandable if they've been working all day. However, that doesn't excuse the inefficiency for my move. We're now 2.hours in and there's no way they'll be done in 1 hour, as they still have to finish loading then unload.. super slow, never again. read more

Disappointed by their service. They offered me a quote and picked up my stuff saying the shipment is leaving in a week. It's been 3 months. The person I spoke to initially was very nice but was the pick up my stuff they handed me to another person who is like a collection agent. The invoice me second time saying my shipment is more than expected and I have to pay before they load the thing into the ship and that would be the final payment. Then I got an additional bill for 200 cubic feet saying that the ship people say that much shipment is bigger and that has to be paid before they release the shipment.
