The glÜwine is probably one of the best I've had in my entire life. It's worth coming here in winter just for that! But also, their ghuolash is to die for!! This restaurant is tucked away in Slottskogen but easy to find if you look for the fountain in the pond. Great location and tasty food at a good value. They serve Swedish home cooking and cafe style food from fish with cream sauce and potatoes to pizza Swedish style. We had the beef which was nicely presented and rare with the ubiquitous sweet potato variation. 2018 year of the sweet potato in Sweden. A few years ago it was pulled pork and coconut oil in or on everything. That's ok because I love sweet potatoes, pumpkins and eggplant, so bring it on! They have a summer stage with live acts and we were there during sound check and rehearsal so got free live music too. Ended up here for an early dinner with some friends. Lovely located at the Gothenburg oas "Slottsskogen" it offers a serenity away just a step away from the more hectic area Linné. The meny offered burger, a salmon dish, a vegetarian taco dish and also a vegan dish (!). I decided to go for the fried feta cheese salad as I wasn't too hungry. Huge dissappointment when I got a plate of 1/4 tzatziki, 1/4 of what seemed to be the vegetarian taco, 1/4 green salad and 1/4 fried feta. The fried feta was nice but then again, how can you ever fail on that?! The others took the burger which was described as very fancy by the menu but wasn't even remarkable. The waiters took out the bluecheese dressing as requested but forgot to substitute it with aioli as said. read more

tucked away in slottsslkogen, a park where locals picnic and drink copious beers. i enjoyed a free show (actually just sound check) for fibes, oh fibes. the bar serves decent fish and chips. local kids lounge around in the outdoor patio, where a dj was set up. venture further back and there's a ping pong table where guests play a round robin style affair. read more

We had the tortellini and fish patty mains , some cake and wine The food was below average. The staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. The place simply beautiful. We sat on the white garden chairs next to the water and the ducks and it was quiet and peaceful, hard to find such a beautiful spot in the city I think!
