Prior to our visit Silvio answered all our emails promptly and provided a great fact sheet with a map along with advice on restaurants and locations of shops and supermarkets etc. He arranged for a transfer from the airport which saved time catching trains and finding taxis at the Terminus station. The apartment is exactly as advertised. In addition it is very well equipped with lots of towels, plenty of hot water and a great kitchen where we ate in on a few nights. There is also WiFi and cable internet which was great as I always carry my laptop to keep in touch. The main plus is the location as nearly all sites are within walking distance. The Metro is only 12 minutes away, yet because the apartment faces onto a courtyard, it is so quiet at night. On our arrival we were met by Giorgio who showed us around. Silvio also gave us his mobile number to keep in touch should we have any queries during our stay. We have traveled a lot and stayed in many apartments but there are not many that we find where we really felt as if it weres home There was even a bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine to help us settle in. Despite this being our 4rth visit to Rome, we still have many places left to see so we will definitely be back and hopefully will get to stay at Via Crezcenzio 19 again. A couple of restaurants to recommend - 'Maccheroni' near Piazza Navona and our favourite - Ragno d'Oro in Via Silla (off of Via Cola di Renzo), a family run place with no menu, an owner who speaks English and exceptional food at very good prices (we were the only non-Italians amongst many local customers)the apartment was incredibly nice ahd we shoudl really use it again no problem y use your service in the future I would hesitate to use this apartment.

This will in fact be your first view in the morning, when you wake up and sit on the terrace by the huge garden sipping your Italian coffee. Stéphanie and Daniele, the young couple that'll host you, will give you full access to the whole green space, so if you're travelling with small children bear in mind that they might want to sleep in the supercozy treehouse by the swings in the play area. With a living room that also serves as a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfy king-size bed and a clean and functional bathroom, this bright and spacious house has everything you need and can very comfortably host up to 4 people. The terracotta tiles and the surrounding trees keep it all nicely cool even in the warmest time of the year, so even in June you will barely use the air conditioning.

We filed a police report and told the host we were leaving, because we didn't feel safe. THE HOST REFUSED TO REFUND US FOR THE UNSPENT NIGHTS. (24 in total) I know it's inconvenient when someone staying with you unexpectedly leaves, but it's not like getting robbed was our idea of a good time. we didn't ask him to replace any of our lost goods, just refund us for unused nights. However, Rodolfo took it to a whole new level. He said that he didn't think he had to refund us and that WE MADE IT ALL UP!!! The host is deluded and super defensive. Why in the world would I spend an entire day of my vacation at the police station? It's like we were accusing him of stealing from us... which is what he ended up doing in the end. No amount of convenience to Rome's center is worth dealing with this man. Take it from me.

I was in this apartment in Rome for four nights. It was really nice, well kept and it fits 5 people…read morenicely. I think price wise it was also ok, but I didn't pay, since my parents invited me to stay with them, but for being in the center of the old city it is really a great place to stay in. We could do lots on foot from here and if needed there where lots of buses at a near piazza. Also the apartment is near supermarkets and the post office. Since we booked it for one week we got also a dinner prepared at the apartment. The landloard cleaning lady make a fantastic italian dinner and she is from India ;) The only bad thing about it, was the stair. For me and my sister it was fine, but my parents aren't so young anymore and so it was a bit of a pain for them to go up and down.
