The views from the hotel were spectacular as it overlooks the Mediterranean Sea with a view of Mount Vesuvius. Restaurants abound in the area and ferries are close to the pier. The train station is 10 minutes away and you are close to Sorrento and Naples. The accommodations were comfortable and relaxing. I cannot day enough about this wonderful experience. I would give 10 stars if I could.

The rooms are clean, stylish, and roomy...even the smallest room. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants...if you stayed a week you could eat at a different place for lunch and dinner without going to the same restaurant twice. I could easily stay here a week or longer and have a very relaxing stay.

Warning! There are about 120ish (I never counted) stairs to get to and from town, hauling your bags down is tough work but it is so worth the effort once you get to the Villa and see those views. The rooms themselves were on the small end but very clean and well stocked, and the room prices were very reasonable compared to places in Amalfi proper. Francesca, our host, was so kind, friendly, and funny. The rest of the staff were so willing to help you and I loved when we would ask for something, and they'd say "of course, this is your house." Just a wonderful atmosphere. You get breakfast every day of your stay, on the first day you fill out the menu of everything you want. We accidentally ordered way too much, depending on your appetite. For a single person: I'd recommend: a coffee, a fruit tray (it's big for sharing), eggs/bacon/toast and maybe one more thing. We also were graciously allowed to take our wedding photos all around the property, and views were so stunning from every angle! If you are looking for a nice hotel to stay at when visiting Sorrento or the Amalfi coast, but…read moredon't want to be near the noise and bustle of the city, Hotel Piccolo Paradiso is the place for you. The hotel is located in Massa Lubrensa, directly above the small fishing village of Marina Lobra. It has terrific views of the Bay of Naples. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean. I visited earlier this fall and they used disinfectant regularly in all the public areas, offered hand sanitizer everywhere and everyone wore masks. It is very quiet but only a short drive from Sorrento and most of the Amalfi coast. Their is a bus that leaves and drops off directly in front of the hotel that will take you in and around Massa Lubrensa and Sorrento. There is also direct hire car service available as well as taxis. If you fly into Naples International Airport, don't bother with a rental car. The roads are very steep and narrow and traffic is thick until you get to Massa Lubrensa. There is very little parking available at the hotel. Take the shuttle from the Naples airport to the Sorrento train station and ask the hotel to have a taxi meet your shuttle at the train station. You can just hire a taxi when you arrive at the train station it you'll pay about 30% more. If you prefer a room with enough space to relax in I recommend you reserve the hotel's comfort suites. They're only about 20 Euro a night more than the standard room and given the highly reasonable hotel rates you'll be glad you did. Most of the rooms over look either the pool area, which is very nice, or the Bay of Naples. The comfort suites all have balconies which is another perk. The breakfast offered is typical European style, but all the food is very good. The coffee is excellent. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful with all requests. They are also multi-lingual making communication easy. If you like to dive or wish to take a boat tour or go fishing, this location is perfect because all these things are available in Marina Lobra, a short 5 minute walk down the stairs from the hotel. I cannot say enough nice things about my stay at this hotel. It's a great place to relax and unwind, yet close to everything. I will happily stay here again.

The house is located within one of the most historic palaces in Salerno, right on the Lungomare promenade, and every room has breath-taking views of the the Tyrrhenian Sea. Each of the six bedrooms is beautifully decorated and has a spacious, private bath. The common rooms include a well-appointed dining area, living room with flat screen television, and kitchen with all the amenities. The house also has free Wifi and AC. Donna Giulia was a quick walk to everything we wanted; restaurants, groceries, shops, and the harbor. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return!

The room we stayed in was large and comfortable, AC included and the people are very chatty and love to sit with their guests and discuss the activities to do around. They are also helpful where they can be! The parking is available inside the structure and the kitchen is at public use during the morning hours. Torre Annunziata does not have a proper city night life, but Pompeii is 10 min away through the highway and can offer different activities.

When a tour shuttle failed to pick us up, Fabrizio personally drove us all the way to our ferry to make sure we made it on time. He'll help you know what bus/train you need to take to get to Sorrento/Pompeii or wherever you're planning to visit. They have a fantastic free breakfast everyday. You can order dinner and sit out on their amazing patio, overlooking Vesuvius. All food is made by the family and extremely good. This is a nice feature for any hotel, but in Positano it is an absolute life saver! The nearest street is a few flights up from the hotel entrance, so carrying heavy luggage down can be quite precarious. However, they have trained professionals ready and eager to help! I was amazed when they scooped up more luggage than I could carry alone over flat ground and easily traversed the steps to lead us to the hotel. Your first glimpse of Villa Magia is breathtaking. As you walk onto their courtyard, there are two beautiful trees and a flowerbed that overlook the cliff and the beachside of the city. Walking deeper in, you are met with a gorgeous terrace lined with vines and plenty of seating that overlooks the coast. It feels like walking into a postcard! This leads to the outer dining area for Luna, the hotel restaurant. Definitely try to eat here if it fits your schedule! The food is amazing, and the head waiter, Salvatore (Sal), was a joy to interact with. He will make wonderful suggestions and make you feel right at home. The staff at the front desk, just inside past the terrace, are also fantastic. They ameliorated every aspect of our stay, including providing us with an iPhone and messaging system via WhatsApp for 24-hour assistance. We worked primarily with Jada, who was amazing and so welcoming. When she found out we were planning a day trip to Capri, she not only reserved our tickets for us (which we found out later sold out, so we were lucky she had!), but also gave us her personal recommendations as she used to be a skipper for one of the boats. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and had absolutely amazing views. There were high ceilings and even built-in sauna! Our favorite parts were the sun room and the balcony garden. Every morning they would deliver breakfast to our room (which we had pre-selected the night before and sent via WhatsApp), and they would set it up wherever we liked. Our entire stay the staff made us feel like both family and royalty all at once. I absolutely cannot recommend Villa Magia enough. Hurry to make your reservation, because there are only 12 rooms on property! A one-of-a-kind experience that is sure to enhance your visit in beautiful Positano.
