My family needed a last minute catering services and literally within an hour and a half our food was ready for 10 people . The service was outstanding with fresh and healthy ingredients. They've changed the name to Villa a few years back and haven't updated the Yelp yet. I called in a to go order and wasn't aware of this when I drove over. I ordered two salmon plates and 1 beef plate. Total was $60 plus tax. The salmon plates didn't taste good and the rice was undercooked. I'd say 3/5 at most. The beef in my plate tasted good, was cooked right. The fries were total soggy after only a few minutes drive from work to their restaurant but still edible. The woman who took my payment was very unfriendly and rather cold. She emerged from an office (door closed) and quickly went back inside and closed her opaque door. It was definitely an unusual experience. I definitely didn't feel the food was worth the price, especially as there are a bunch of Mediterranean restaurants in the area. read more

This is a gem place located in Tujunga city. It's a nice and cozy family owned restaurant with an amazing service and the best Armenian food. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they assisted me with a selection for my catering. All my guests loved the food; they provide very high quality and freshly prepared dishes. Loved all their cold and hot dishes, including the bbq. My kids are picky eaters and they tried all the appetizers and liked everything. Even their veggies were well prepared with good seasoning and crispiness. This is my new to go place for any big or small parties. Ordered take out- impressed with the portions and not bad at all. We got the mutabal which came in a large container it was delicious like home made. The fries were a little over cooked and soggy but plus side is they weren't frozen they were real potato French fries. The beef lule was good but a little too thick. I stopped by here last Friday to pick up lunch for the office and had the most welcoming experience. I had not ordered or been there in a while so it was really nice to see them. Husband and wife are so sweet!! They always let me pay with 3 different credit cards as NOBODY has cash in the office! Their meat is the best. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Hrazdan is right across from our office and I will never order from there!! Anyway, their food was so amazing!! Everybody in the office loved it!! Not a good experience. Went there at a busy lunch time, and there was not a single person in there. I had to call out "Hello" for someone to come out. I ordered some food and it was pretty bad and looked for the first excuse to get out. They have the TV blasting, and there is no such thing as service. You are basically interrupting their other work. Left my food half eaten, and went someplace else. The food here was not fresh, and I thought would be at least the highlight to the lack of anything else. Nope! Dont waste your time. I wanted to check out this little kebab place since I saw it on Foothill. On Thursday I stopped by to pick up some food for dinner. We enjoyed lamb chop plate, luleh kabob and shish kebab combo plate, and chicken plate. Hummus and felafel? Of course!! Throw some in there too. I really liked the seasonings a lot and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. To me the prices were a little high for the amount of food served. I am a huge fan of middle eastern food and this place is quite nice and right down the street. Looking forward to eating inside one time for it is a clean and pretty little cafe. read more

This place is in the nook of a little strip mall. It is by far the best kabob place I've tried. Better than the one in Oxnard & Laurel Canyon that everyone raves about. Down to earth home cooking with large servings. The lentil soup is a must! Has a kick to it so those of you who can't do spice may want to ask for it to be mild, if they can accommodate that. I crave it. I wanted to check to see if they were opened during the quarantine but they didn't answer the phone yesterday 5/15. Wow!!!! Meat is extraordinarily so tender and melts in your mouth. This kebab is one of the best out there! Owner still took our order even though it was close to closing time and made everything fresh with customers walking in behind and a phone order that seem to come in. Except...I don't think they have updated the chairs, tables or decor in ages!! but its the quality of food you get that will make you coming back for more!! The flavor of the marinated meats is everything you dream for on a grilled skewer! Everything tastes so good here but their lamb chops are absolutely the best! I later found out why their lamb chops taste so good. The owner Aroot (I don't think I spelled his name right) told me the lamb chops are imported from his country. People who have traveled outside the U.S. would know that most of the meat in the U.S. does not taste good. Because the animals are not grass fed and have hormone, antibiotics and other shit. Awful. Ordered Chicken Breast Kabob. Tasted chickeny, but the lemons and raw onions served helped alleviate that awful taste. Ordered Trio appetizers. Portions were super small. Hummus was boring. Ikra (eggplant) was ordinary. Dolmas was pre-made and just ok. We love Mediterranean food. We were surprised to find baby rabbit on the menu, but luckily we didn't see that on the menu till we were paying our bill. Decor is like K-Mart, but we were willing to accept that, expecting really flavorful food based on some Yelp reviews. Have tried at least 6 different Mediterranean restaurants in the last few months. Ordered the chicken breast kabob and beef lule plates w/ small sides of shirazi salad and hummus. We wanted to order the chicken thigh kabob but they didn't have any more. It comes with rice (but we opted for house salad), grilled tomato and pepper, and onions. The meat was on point, but the house salad was pretty disappointing. It was mostly lettuce and a few scattered tomato slices and cucumbers. The flavor of the shirazi salad was good, but it reminded me more of a tabouleh w/ less parsley and more onion.
