Hi, I am just so happy with my latest hair cut & the service I ALWAYS receive, at my hair salon that I really feel they deserve to be mentioned & especially want to THANK two of my favorite barbers/stylist Mrs.Terry Powell & Mrs. Rose Sargent for being the best I've ever had & my kids feel the same way about these two really nice ladies!!! I have ALWAYS been very happy with every hair cut, color or style they have given me & all the members of my family for many years now so I thought it only right that I tell everyone just how amazing they are. My family (me, my son, & daughter & my husband before he became ill) have been going to Village Barber Stylists for at least 15 yrs now & have NEVER been anything but extremely satisfied & not only with the perfect haircut but the way they always treat us, no matter what time of day, no appointments needed, & I've even ran in a the last minute, still they're always so cheerful & treat you like you're the most important customer they have, they make you feel special. & even though I like that they take their time & really "LISTEN" to us & what we are wanting (especially me & my daughter) at the same time, you don't have to worry about being there all day, they are so good at what they do, once we've explained it, they go to work making us look amazing, while at the same time being so efficient you can't believe they're done already. I am so glad to have found them because I have had the exact opposite experience in the past at other places where not only did they NOT listen to me, they took forever & still messed my hair up...NOT VILLAGE BARBER STYLISTS!!! I am especially weird about my hair, I'm always wanting to try different colors and or styles & they really care about making me happy with the end product & I trust them so much, I ask them for their honest opinion on what I'm going for & they're completely honest with me even if they don't think I should do what I'm wanting, but at the same time, they always follow it up with telling me they will cut it or do it however I want (they never try & talk me out of it) they just give me their professional opinion because I ask them too! The results have always been AWESOME because I learned to listen to them lol ok there was one time I didn't listen & I wished I had, boy do I wished I had, still they wouldn't let me leave until I was happy even when I insisted it be done the "wrong way" they were so patient, did NOT charge me extra, but fixed the cut I wanted but didn't like after I got it. YES the are that good & that amazing!!! I can't say enough great things about them because you just can't find good hair cutters & stylist these days, especialy ones that really care & as far as I am concerned (& my family is concerned) umm well our hair is pretty important to us & we are very picky about it so to have had the same ones for so many years & ALWAYS ALWAYS be so GREAT & CONSISTENT well THAT'S A BIG DEAL TO US!!! So THANK YOU VILLAGE BARBER STYLISTS not just for this last time you let me in at the last minute, stayed late & made my hair look so great, but for doing it for me & all my family for the past 15 years, you really are the BEST OF THE BEST!!! read more

Village Barber is absolutely amazing. Terry is just awesome at doing women, men's, and children haircuts.

First and most importantly, they don't use credit cards, they only take cash - WTH? So they obviously don't want to report accurate tax numbers and don't want to pay Credit card fee's - WOW!! Then they have the nerve to charge a premium price for the actual cut! Add the fact that if you don't have cash on you (like me most of the time) you not only pay the high haircut price, then pay various ATM fees for the privilege!!! Then the haircut itself. Henry cut my hair, and I will tell you, it was the absolute worst cut. I have a typical men's hairstyle, #2 fade - Henry is old enough to have had many years to perfect this, well, completely uneven, like a beginner did it. WTH again??!! So, in my book, they STRIKE OUT on every count, PRICE-PRICE-Performance-VALUE - really bad experience - I feel like I was actually ripped off after leaving - NEVER AGAIN. I've been going to Village Barber Stylists for over 25 years and may be their longest satisfied customer. Terri (the owner) has been my barber the entire time and I couldn't ask for a more friendly or professional individual. I've sent many of my fellow firefighters to this place over the years and all of them have been very happy with the services. The shop is always clean and the people are very friendly and always willing to help. Excellent prices too!! You can't go wrong with Village Barber Stylists!! read more
