It is open most lunchtimes and evenings and IMHO is probably the best Chippie in Bridgend. Unfortunately(!!) it is quite handy for me so I treat myself at least one lunchtime a week awesome! I asked her to stop and when I got the pies Home, they were out of date. I complained and reported the matter to Trading Standards who investigated! Finnegans sell all the usual fish shop fare the prices are a bit steeper than in some chip shops but the extra cost reflects the enhanced quality of the ingredients used. For tourists Finnegans might lose out to it's competitors Beale's and Sidoli's because this is just a take away, whereas you can dine in or takeaway elsewhere. But on a summers day who needs to sit inside grab your chips and a deckchair and get stuck in. EDIT Just walked past today and they have had a full refit - it's looking really smart inside - lovely!
