I have foot neuropathy, foot circulation issues and pain also with a nail fungus. Called to make an appointment. The woman answering the phone was a bit unfriendly and crass. She said that they are a foot doctor however they don't take VA coverage. That they don't help to heal any of the conditions that I stated and that I should look into getting a different referral someplace else. honestly, if you can't heal feet or work on any of these common foot conditions I can't fathom what else you would actually do as a Pediatrist. Maybe stubbed toes or stepped on a thumb tack?

Then xrays and then he says "yes you have a bone that could be fixed with surgery but you smoke. And you have nail fungus but the medicine is hard on the liver" well I don't drink, so.....what? So if you want I can order some creaMs that are available over the counter but they take a long time to help. Really?? I have been dealing with nail fungus for a long time and have tried all these things long before my pc dr told me to see a specialist. It was obvious that he had decided to not treat me the second he saw that I smoke. I asked if they could at least trim my nails and they wouldn't do that either! So, here's a news flash forr all you medical people that shun smokers and diabetics: if it weren't for people like me, we wouldn't need people like you!! Just think...we won't drain the social security either! Perhaps your receptionist should weed out the smokers on the phone so you can quit wasting their time and money. I had a visit this month and was offended by nearly everything. Staff gave no indication they were…read morewashing their hands between patients, table holding clippers, equipment was dirty. The exam room furniture was dirty and stained on the seat( kinda looks like a urine stain location and the base of the patient chair was filthy. Rugs hung all over the outside railings. The private house is filthy inside and out. Waiting room chairs are tattered, ripped n faded. Windows are all dirty. It's just a pig sty office, house, windows. There was a chargeable dremel that was carried from my room to another patient room for use. Disposable dremels aren't used. I stayed for the podiatrist discussion and had nails trimmed cause the clipper came from a sterile packaging but.....it's pretty sloppy care esp minimal social distancing by staff. As a healthcare provider, I shuddered and didn't really feel it would matter if I complained. Even the podiatrist didn't carefully go from patient to patient as I observed him. As a new patient, I felt pretty rushed. Doc left room without washing hands, he did wear gloves but did he change them??? Won't be returning. Dirty, Draconian healthcare office!!! Medicare should stop in for an inspection!

After cutting my aunt's toenails he sat and chatted with her at least 20 minutes afterward. The staff are very nice too. Easy for my Aunt to get in/ out with walker - no steps.
