Country Homemade Chicken Pot Pie with mashed potatoes

Everything was absolutely amazing! Chicken pot pie was to die for. The burger was fresh and meaty. The pie was killer. All the servers were very friendly and nice. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem!

I was craving a chicken pot pie, and a friend's recommendation brought me here. I came here during the Friday lunch rush, the place was bustling and filled with people who clearly seemed like regulars. The ambiance was homey and they also had a large outdoor seating. Despite the full house, our server Fernando was incredibly efficient and attentive. Our food arrived much faster than expected! My friend ordered Flower Fields Sandwich, which was loaded with avocado, grilled mushrooms, eggplant, and onion, and she absolutely loved it. My Chicken Pot Pie came with mashed potatoes and soup. It's a 6 inch pie packed with plenty of tasty chicken and peas. The crust was buttery and flaky. A great spot for lunch. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Great place to break up your drive. Largest selection of fresh baked pies. Tasty coffee and friendly staff. Eating inside or out, though their garden area is a great place to enjoy your close friends and pie!

Went on Saturday at 11:15 am and it was bustling. Walking in, there were people looking at the glass displays of their baked goods. So many different types of pies, muffins, cookies, etc. We went past it to get seated. Thankfully, we were able to get seated right away. This place has such a homey vibe to it that you can't help but get comfortable right away. There's indoor and outdoor seating in the patio. We ordered the quiche of the day (bacon, cheese, onion) with a side of home fries and an almond muffin. We also got the Variety platter. The food was delicious, exactly how you expect it to be, comfort food with a homemade feel. We've tried their pies & muffins in the past and they're so good. We love this place and highly recommend!

This is in my personal top 5 places for pie. Also awesome place for breakfast, so many options, big menu, and we've always experienced pleasant customer service. I really love their breakfast sausage. The pecan roll is fantastic. Great cinnamon rolls. Great chicken fried steak, the country gravy is tasty. Good chili . Belgian waffle is not a fave, and corned beef hash was a little overcooked this time around, we mentioned to the waitress and we were able to replace it with no extra charge for the breakfast sausage. When you're in Carlsbad, this is a must! As busy as they were, food came out timely. There's a happy homely vibe, lots of satisfied patrons all around .

The best place for pie! I am a huge fan of their Fresh Peach Cream Pie, but it's not available until May Will return for sure Love the place, but the men's room requires some attention or reform. Thus the four

One of my favorite places to eat when I am in Carlsbad. They have great combinations with half a salad, soup and pie at a great price. The pies are all phenomenal. I have loved all of the pies I have tried from fruit pies to cream. The service and staff are always great. The ambiance is f great for families and is casual. They do have a cute patio in back which is where I love to enjoy my lunch during beautiful weather.

Weekday lunch, no wait for a table. Another great experience here with awesome service, Best chicken pot pies ever. Also really liked their battered shrimp tacos and onion rings. Til next time!

June 08, 2026 9:31am The food was Outstanding, the service sucked! I was seated I asked for a water, the water came. Waitress came I ordered chicken fried steak, potato cake, scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, and rootbeer. Finished water. Order came did not get my rootbeer, no refill offered. No one checked in or asked if I wanted a water refill until I was eating the last bite. Would definitely suggest eating here, as I said the food was outstanding, but keep your head on a swivel seem you have to ask for your drinks and refills. This is the first time in my life of 53 years I did not leave a tip. Hope I don't get Rosie on my next visit.

I do love a great slice of pie and have always sniffed out the tasty bakeries where ever I go! These are mighty tasty pies here. Muffins & cinnamon rolls are also popular This visit was for brunch with some pals & it was delicous I had a spinach/cheese scramble with the house potatoes. The service was very good. Our waitress was patient & very attentive. For the record, parking can be very tricky on a Sunday. Church is right next door. It is jammed packed. Lines of folks waiting. Nice outside patio space. Have gotten pies here and have been very happy. Yummy custard & banana cream. Will return ideally on a week day for another meal Also open for dinner.

Been here twice now for brunch and both times were great! The staff is super nice and attentive. I got the corned beef both times with potatoes and it was delicious. My mom got a couple different omelets and they were both yummy! She gets the potato cake and pancake. She likes the pancake because it's not too sweet. This last time she got a pumpkin pie slice to-go and she said it was good :) We'll def be back!

Their mocktail menu awesome. Not all people drink alcohol and sometimes people that don't still want a fun refreshing drink, so appreciate that. I ordered their upper east side, which was mint, cucumber, blue majik (whatever that is) soda and citrus. It was absolutely delicious. They had other really interesting sounding mocktails too, like there was actually thought put into a drink that didn't contain alcohol. I was visiting Carlsbad for the first time and wanted to check out as many restaurants as I could in my short time here so I just ordered something small to get the experience of this place. I chose the crudo: yellowtail, amarillo, charred tomato and guava. The dish was gorgeous, stunning, beautiful and tasted divine. Presentation so on point, flavors, freshness, just so yum. The bartender was so great as well, we made small talk and he told me that if I was into non-alcoholic drinks and fish that I should check out Jeune et Jolie next so I did just that. Appreciated the friendly conversation, great atmosphere and stellar food and drink. Will definitely come back here next time I have an opportunity to visit. The cornbread was easily the best I've ever had -- warm, flavorful, and moist. I don't like cornbread because it's usually dry but my goodness, this cornbread was anything but. It was the best cornbread I've ever had.The broccoli was also the best I've ever had. I'm not a fan of broccoli, but the cooks charred the outside to get such a nice, crispy texture without it tasting burnt. Meanwhile the broccoli stem was cooked to contrast with the crunchy-like bites of the charred head. The market fish trout was good, granted trout was dry and isn't my favorite fish. But I ordered it to pay attention to the other facets of the dish: the puree and mushrooms that accompanied it were the stars. At least the trout skin was crispy. Campfire has a rustic, cabin feel to it (I thought the arrows on the walls were a cool touch). Servers were great and attentive. I'd come back to try other entrees.
