A home study found nothing wrong with my sleep, so they had me do an overnight sleep study. They diagnosed me with sleep apnea and handed me a APAP and sent me home. I was surprised since I don't snore, but was glad for anything that would help me sleep better. Sadly, it didn't. They said to give it time. After 9 months I contacted them again to ask for a follow up to see why I wasn't sleeping any better and was angrily scolded over the phone and told they were going to write me up for non-compliance even though I'd been using it for 9 months. After that, figuring there was nothing that could be done, so I gave up. Three years later I decided to give the APAP another try and researched CPAPs on-line. I discovered they had set my APAP at the lowest setting of 5 CPAP and never adjusted my settings again like they were suppose to. I contacted them hoping they would adjust the settings to work better. It required contacting them multiple times before they finally agreed to do an overnight sleep titration study. The next problem was the mattress they assigned me was absolutely terrible. It was worn and dipped in the center really badly and I had the worst sleep of the year that night. After that titration study they said to bring the APAP in for a setting change because they wanted to change it from 5 to 5. I'm still not sleeping great, but I fully understand that there will be zero help from this sleep center.

I have never experienced anyone in this medical center as RUDE as (Kelly).....she was extremely NASTY towards me -she didn't speak to me, was pretty much snarling, had no patience and went on and on about how busy and backed up they were on that particular day. I truly like my doctor, but as long as she is assigned to this facility I highly doubt that I will visit Columbus anymore.

They need to re-code the tests and re-submit them to insurance, which shouldn't require any client intervention at all, but they did not do that. I have been calling on my friend's behalf, we have submitted their ROI (release of information) for them to be able to talk to me, and they can't locate the ROI, and still will not discuss the bill with me, in spite of doing exactly what they required. A patient should not have to fight a $672 bill for routine testing in the first place, and here we are trying to rectify it and can't even get anyone to help. This is a really poor way to serve clients. Highly disappointed.

Not wanting to wait that long, I was told they had openings at the Henry Ford Medical Center in West Bloomfield for the following Monday so I decided to take it. This Medical Center is located at the southwest corner of Farmington Road and Maple Road, just after a traffic circle. Assess is easy and parking is adequate. There are other specialties resident at this location as well. As you enter from outside there are kiosks for you to do express check in if you like. I bypassed because I saw the entrance to dermatology immediately past the lobby entrance. I was quickly checked in, given a form to fill out, and sat waiting to be called. Everything went rather smoothly.
