Cake plate (displayed it amidst my coffee mugs)

I have been to Village Mill Antiques twice now. Their mall is neat and clean with very well organized booths. I was just a browser during my first visit and found a pitcher and glasses in my Tiara pattern, but did not purchase them because I thought I might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else. I was wrong! Luckily, I returned one month later, hoping the items were still there, and they were... as well as a cake plate I missed the first time, mistaking it for the brandy decanter and goblet tray. They also had one napkin holder I decided to pass... maybe later. Indiana Glass Company Tiara Glass Exclusives Amber Sandwich Pattern circa 1970-1998. https://www.glassencyclopedia.com/Tiaraglass.html See my purchases in the attached images. The lovely ladies took great care in wrapping and packing my glassware and directed me to the cake plate I had mistaken for the tray. They were extremely friendly and helpful and I cannot wait to visit their establishment in the future. They also added my glass and China patterns to their registry for future notifications. I began my Tiara glass collection with a few pieces given to me by my Grandmother when I was about twelve, but it has grown quite extensive in just a few short years through diligent antiquity scavenger hunts.

Very nice antique store! Found a few comics and an awesome Beatles photograph! Had a lot of great antiques inside and outside. Great customer service!

Definitely not the type of antique shop I'm used to but the amount of hidden treasures they have is…read moreinsane! So many books!!!

I really like this place. I'm a bibliophile, myself. I have way too many books to read in my…read morelifetime; I suppose part of my book obsession isn't only about reading the of books, and extends to the finding and curating of a book collection, as no working dad has the time for reading the entire library that I'm building. Idk. Maybe I'm just preparing myself for a retirement spent in the books--either way, I have a habit of buying too many. Thus, it's rare that I leave a bookstore without a few or more in hand. In this case, I only purchased one upon my first visit to Fletcher's, and I believe the reason I purchased so few is simply that it's so difficult to sort through the books here unless one has much time to meander and stare at every book on the shelves and tables--and, for the tables/islands of books in the middle of the room, one must have time to pick up books stack by stack to search through them, else you can't actually see what the books are; it's like losing sight of the trees for the forest. Still, upon my visit, I did find one book that I've been meaning to purchase for years, and it happened to be in one of the stacks I picked up. I suppose there's something cathartic about picking up a stack of mystery books and searching through, hoping for a gem. It's a bit like gambling. Although, I simply did not have time in this visit to linger longer and meander through all the mystery piles. It is for the reason of accessibility--though the search may be fun--that I do deduct one star from my review. Were it easier to find books on the tables, I suppose I would leave a 5-Star review. And, on the surface, they really seem a 5-star independent bookshop. They have so much packed into such a quaint and whimsical location; I really loved the ambiance. The antiques were a nice addition--I'm now convinced that all book shops should double as antique shops with stained glass windows and panels such as this. It's gorgeous. And, yet, again, I still wish it were easier to search through these mountains of books on the tables. So, will I go back? ABAOLUTELY! and you should, too--but plan to need longer than expected to find books of interest. They're there--you just have to search through their tables thoroughly.

By far the coolest bookstore exterior I have seen.
