We came on Father's Day with a reservation, and the hostess, Sherly, was rude from the start --refusing to validate our reservation and giving us attitude the entire time. The food wasn't any better. The food was solid, the restaurant ambience felt warm and inviting, but what solidified the 5-star rating were the servers who were all very friendly and attentive and made for a highly enjoyable experience! They brought all food to your table side and serve you including salads, potato salads, pasta salads, and sautéed vegetables of squash, zucchini and mushrooms. The other waiter brought mashed potatoes, fried bananas, cheese balls, beans and rice side dishes which got refill as you wish. The meat cut included top sirloin, bottom sirloin, sausages, bacon wrapped chicken, picanha, lamb chops, garlic beef and grilled pineapple. Overall, you got what you paid for. I have been to this place when it was the first of the Villa's to open up. It is very quaint as it is located in downtown Irving. There is a sister restaurant that has opened up on 183 and Story in Irving. The staff was very attentive and the salad was very fresh. We went on a Saturday evening at 6:30 pm. My only qualm was that it did not seem like they were bringing out as many meat selections as before. They brought out the Picana, New York Strip (a little chewy), Pork, and Bacon Wrapped Chicken. We had to ask for the Lamb which is a new addition to the menu. Overall, very tasty for the price point. You can bring your own wine, beer, or liquor as well. You can't do that at the location on Story in Irving. We will come back again. read more

But hold up, let me quote my man about the meat because it would be a major fail to not share this with you: "You know what, babe? You know how you can tell that this is really good meat? ... I didn't have to put any salt on it or ask for any additional sauce". GRIN. And for the record, he puts salt on EVERYTHING. Yes, I am an amazing girlfriend. I fed my man heaps of meat and sexy sides and the best part is: Villas is BYOB, so he rinsed it all down with his favorite beer. Believe me, we BOTH walked out very satisfied. My friend brought me here on Friday night and I had high expectations. It's kinda of a hole in the wall place and doesn't look as fancy as most Brazilian steak houses. Their salad bar could definitely use some work. I don't think their going for the fancy vibe tho. They also have random appetizers you can get before. I thought it was weird that they served beans and rice but it's actually pretty good! So make sure you get that. They give you this card thing and you have to turn it to the green side for them to bring the meat. The spicy beef isn't that great but everything else was pretty good! I really liked the chicken. At the end they give you a piece of hot pineapple which I thought was strange but it actually tastes pretty good. I personally don't think this place is worth dropping $60 at but I'm glad I got to atleast try it once. read more

We were in town for work and tried this place for lunch. I've been to all the major Brazilian steak houses, and this place wasn't quite up to the same level, but it was pretty good. Like some of the reviews said, their salad bar was not much (as you can see from the pictures). The food on the buffet though was on point. The beans were amazing. I tried the fried cauliflower, and that was great as well. When it was time for the meat, the service was not as fast paced as the other steakhouses. They would come around, cut a small piece, and you would wait about 5 minutes to get another piece. My glass was never empty though. Maybe if they filled my plate as much as my glass, it would have been better. For the most part, the meats were pretty good. They only had 4 different meats, maybe that's how they do their lunch. I waited for more, and they broguht the grilled pineapple. The pineapple was worth the cost of admission alone. I'm guessing that's there way of saying you're done. But I wasn't. I asked for another cut, and they brought the rump roast and sirloin. They cut a piece of roast, and slid the whole piece of sirloin on my plate. After I cut into it, i found out why. It was way well done. I wanted steak, not jerky. All in all, I would definitely go back again if I was in the area. The service may have dropped it to 3 stars, but the grilled pineapple alone brought it back up to 4. Give it a try. read more
