Started with a mussels appetizer that was in a white garlic and oil sauce with a touch of fennel and it was delicious. The mussels were prepared perfectly and the taste was amazing! I ordered Rigatoni Bolognese. It was delicious! The portion was perfect. My wife got Chicken Piccata and it was also excellent. We finished the night with Tartufo. The menu has a lot of options. Based on the dishes we saw going to other tables everything looked great. They sell alcohol. The wine list is ok. I would recommend adding an inexpensive Sangiovese as well as an affordable Brunello under $60, but I would recommend that to any Italian restaurant. Prices were fair and didn't make me cringe when I got the check. Definitely worth it. Great spot! I'll be visiting Vincent's again soon! read more

Although this Chef owned restaurant has been here several years this is our first visit. It seems that our fellow Yelpers enjoy the food and we concur. The couple of dishes we sampled were tasty and well prepared as well as generous in portions. Our server was both efficient and friendly without being over bearing at any time. Came here on Mother's Day for lunch. They had special menus, the pricing was ridiculous on the items 50-60 per dish on things as basic as chicken. Definitely even beyond nyc pricing. I opted for a penne with vegetables in pesto. I could have made this myself but better with a jar of pesto. It barely had a hint of pesto, for $25 the portion was laughable, the tomatoes were huge stewed tomatoes. It lacked flavor and I desperately needed some parm or something to make it edible but our server gave us our dishes and didn't check in us and returned eventually at the end to ask about dessert. My husband had to flag another waiter to get me some parm. For 1pm on Mother's Day I was shocked how empty it was, which made it even more surprising how terrible the service was. She brought the regular drinks and never water until we had to remind her. My nieces wanted more bread, the waitress didn't ask, and didn't return till much later to take our orders. The only saving grace was the molten lava cake. This is my second time here, and it's pretty consistent with my previous experience. read more

My most recent experience was for lunch when both the food and service were above par. Over the years I have been there for holidays and special occasions and each experience was first rate. My fiance and I ate at this website and were underwhelmed by the food. I got the gnocchi (one of the few vegetarian options) and did not finish the dish or take home leftovers. The gnocchi had too much flour and was dense. The eggplant was tough and remained untouched. The piatti principale was alright at best, with tough chicken. A terrific BYOB dining choice in Freehold Township, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Great food, service & atmosphere! One of the nicer outdoor dining areas I've seen, terrific spot to social distance and have a meal outdoors! The food here is really great. I got the Branzino off the menu and thought it was really tasted and cooked with great care! Their spinach ravioli was also quite the delighter! It's easy to begin rating a place by the bread that they serve. The bread here was definitely a cut above average and nice and warm. For appetizers the arugula salad was really nicely done. Very tasty dressing, not too heavy just right. They have an artichoke appetizer here that I'm sure will be a big crowd pleaser! The artichokes are breaded and lightly fried but they give you four huge pieces including the stems. Definitely worth a try! Their outdoor seating is really nice, a tent covers half of it from the sun while the other half, out in front of the restaurant is really nice. If you're planning to come on the weekend you'll need to make a reservation in advance as there is limited seating. Delicious lunch consisted of rigatoni vodka sauce with added jumbo shrimp out of this world. Also huge short rib ravioli with shrimp on top in cream sauce also decadent and delicious filled with tender short rib meat. Toasted bread with olive oil dipping was a great addition . What to say. We came in on a Saturday night at 6 pm and the place was empty. Red flag. I ordered penne vodka for $24.29 and requested it with shrimp. I got 4 shrimp and the total was then increased to $37.60! No salads were provided with our meals so hubby and I split a Caesar salad for $15. The salad was dry and small. Never felt so ripped off. Disappointing visit. The bacon-dusted calamari was not bacon-dusted. There were bits of bacon in the dipping sauce. Nobody but me liked the sauce. My wife enjoyed the bolognese. Delicious food. Best rice balls I've ever had. Beet salad is great. Don't often see Short Ribs and they were amazing. My daughter had basil pesto pasta which was excellent and creamy. My wife had the chicken formaggio, Dad had the Vodka combo, and Mom had the pork chops. Everyone loved their food. Portions are large. Waitstaff were very attentive and friendly. We weren't rushed. Veal with mushrooms in what ever sauce they said it was, it wasn't. Only mushrooms had flavor of jarred garlic , (bitter). Veal was like cardboard. Filet Minon looked good and my friend said it was good. Salmon was good. Branzino I was told was good. Sides no standouts. Mashed potatoes and some veggies. Add your own salt, which many kept asking for the salt shaker to be passed. Coffee , cream burle ok. Tartufo very good, but that did not come from the kitchen. Service was very good. Everyone nice. I recently ate here on a Saturday night with my family. I made a reservations through the OpenTable app for 3 people at 7pm.. when we first arrived the hostess seamed confused as to where to seat us and a few other parties that arrived, it was sort of putting a bad taste in our mouths. Eventually we ended up sitting outside on the beautiful patio. Our waitress Marilyn was super sweet, gave terrific service and fantastic recommendations. The dishes we ordered were so tasty and so delicious that I was eating my leftovers on the car ride home. We signed contract for 30 people and we had 3 people not attend due to not feeling well. We came here for a birthday, 11 people. The wait staff was very short with us, and it was tough to get their attention when we needed something. We ordered a few apps. We got the dusted calamari & regular calamari. The dusted calamari had a very good flavor, but the calamari wasn't anything special, and honestly tiny. We also got the mushroom spinach salad. Disappointed, it was very blah, and looked like it was slopped together, wouldn't recommend. We also got the stuffed clams, they were also nothing special. And we got the stuffed pacherri- I believe it was called, this was pretty full of flavor and different, I'd recommend this. It's stuffed with a short rib and ricotta. Very fried but very nice flavors. For our main dishes we (my husband and I) got the chicken vino Bianco, which was very tender and had a good sauce and flavor to it. He got the rib eye special, which was cooked like he wanted and also had a nice flavor to it. We enjoyed our main dishes. For desserts we got tiramisu, cannoli & tartufo. Tiramisu was not my favorite I'd skip this here, cannoli was a 2.5 out of 5, and tartufo was good too, 3 out of 5.
