This is this church! I have never been to a church that had so many recovering sinners in it. I started with Bible study...added another Bible study...added worship...added prayer group. Sounds like a lot, but when you are hungry and they have food, you just can't get enough. They didn't just let me come...they welcomed me! They didn't pass me by...they came to me. I have been told all my life about a God that fits in a box. These people believe in the God that showed up in my life...He is not a God that can, they believe He does and is doing. They don't teach ABOUT God, they believe IN Him. I don't know all they do, but I know they are reaching out to the community and have plans to keep adding more. If you have been turned off by the church, try this place. There is freedom here!

If our actions do not align with the word of God then it is the church's responsibility to show us the right path and God's truth. If we are too hard and arrogant to accept reproach from love, then that is on us. MWC was the first and only church our family visited in Wichita before we made it our home. There is a great kids ministry and even a coffee shop. If you're looking for a place to worship and connect with God and people in Wichita, MWC is it!

This is a great church that has very friendly people. It's in a nice building and they have…read moreservices Saturday night at 5:30 pm and Sunday morning at 10:30 am. They provide childcare during the services as well. When I walked in, multiple people greeted me and asked me for my name. Most of the people were wearing name tags, which was helpful. The lead pastor's name is Stephen Luna. He and his wife are young but you can tell they have a sincere love for God and for people. The worship team was really good. They did a mix of songs including one of their own, some from Phil Wickham and Hillsong, and they even did a hymn and it was awesome! All in all I definitely recommend this church to anyone who wants a friendly community, solid biblical teaching and a sense of mission.

The lawn is trimmed and a few flowers have been planted or else you'd think the place was abandoned because most of the time, it looks like nobody is there. Looks are deceiving. With Easter coming up, I would not be surprised to see more people coming in to see all the others, sing a few songs, listen to a good sermon. I'm sure it would be a good fit for someone who is not looking for a huge congregation to get lost in. Little numbers do powerful things. Give this church a try.
