Too bad I couldn't do .5 review. The walls are thin so you always hear the neighbors. The admin is past piss poor FT KNOX NEEDS TO BLACK LIST SOLDIERS FROM LIVING HERE. The front office is not only rude but unknowledgeable. The move out process feels like a scam and they go strait to collections without any phone calls or anything. Don't say I didn't warn you. They have a bunch of hidden fees, carpet cleaning is over $100 per room. All damaged items in the house are inflated to fix by 30% or higher... Do your thing though. read more

Move out was a nightmare. I informed management there was a chance I could be leaving 1 month before my lease was up but was not confirmed (4 months in advance). 2 weeks later I informed management that I would not be leaving early. They stated they had already rented my unit out and I would have to vacate 1 month early. They then sent the last months rent (which is when the new tenant was living there) to collections without ever contacting me which violates 2 state laws. They are also charging for normal wear and tear items like refrigerator filter that I replaced 2 months prior as well as in their words "wear and tear on carpet" all to the tune of $2500 sent to collections. The ONLY good thing about this place is the Maintenance guys are nice and chill. DO NOT RENT HERE. read more

The worst management I've ever seen in an apt complex. sent a 15 day eviction notice TWICE due to complaints of a dog in my apt (I have never owned a dog) and whole time there is a dog in the apt next to us. when I notified management there was a dog next door so complaints must've been on this dog, they told me they knew of the dog next door..... on top of this once we moved out we revived not a bill, but a DEBT COLLECTION statement for 400 for the following items of "damage" (I'll list their price w/ it as well) unreturned mail key $35, mail lock replacement $50, refrigerator drawer $198, and refrigerator filter $95. all while we still haven't received a list of damages our $1500 deposit went towards. I wouldn't recommend renting with them. their units are listed as luxury but are far from it, yourself and look at reviews!!! read more

Apartments look nice but I would not suggest my enemy going through what my soldier went through. Virtual tour then $700 down only to be told no apartment available but can view an apartment. Administration fee, application fee, and security deposit all lost. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING this is a scam! read more

My stay, albeit shorter than expected, was great! Friendly staff, convenient location, a dog park, pool, gym, quiet neighborhood and quick maintenance teams all contributed to a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend Vineland Carriage Homes. read more

Trust the bad reviews, please don't rent here! We had an okay experience during the two years we lived here despite the normal apartment inconveniences. The walls are super thin and we could hear our neighbors every move.The maintenance was typically very responsive. The shelving unit in our closet fell out of the wall due to faulty installation. When maintenance came to repair it, they did not paint over the huge spots because they told us our unit was due to be repainted after move out anyway. We were set to move out in about a month so we didn't worry about it. We were charged $350 for not cleaning up a small amount of dog poop which is excessive but that was what we agreed to when we registered our dog with them. This review would have been much more positive if it hadn't been for the excessive charges they throw at you at move-out. We were charged $5,000 for vinyl floor replacement, carpet replacement, and repainting of the entire unit. I cleaned the unit top to bottom and there was no damage. The carpet came up in corners when we would run the vacuum over it. They charged us to replace the vinyl flooring in the entire unit because there was a 5'x5' area where our dining table/chairs lightly scratched the flooring. Like other reviews state, the move-out statement was sent to RentersAdvocate which offers to help you dispute these charges. After their "investigation," Vineland Carriage Homes stood by their charges and claimed our damage was beyond normal wear and tear. Pictures provided by Vineland were poor quality, black and white photos that made it impossible to tell what "damage" they claim we caused. They were also mailed to us after the charges were sent to another collections agency that we had to pay instead of RentersAdvocate or Vineland. They essentially charge you to renovate the entire apartment unit when you move out and the only way out is to go into debt or seek legal assistance. read more
