Correction is needed, I recently donated over 1,000 DVD/CDS to this facility fortunately prior to my leaving OHIO I was able to arrange a delivery method, sadly on my last day I arrived with a collection of over 153 Expensive BOOKS covering a variety of TOPICS Facility was closed and so I like many drove around the back only to realize their was no safe secure placement set aside for this type of donation, what a shock and surprise as I ended up safely packing books in front on the side on tables and seats fortunately there was no rain, all I can say is no body wants to dump a $2500-00 collection of books on the ground next a Dumpster‍ hopefully some care and consideration will be made available for the next donator read more

Vineyard Cincinnati is a huge facility with a lot of resources, great production, and friendly front-door teams. However, after attending for a while, it wasn't the right spiritual home for me. I personally struggled to find deep, authentic community here and felt that the social environment could be quite cliquey. Additionally, I personally felt the Sunday teachings leaned toward half-truths rather than the deep, fully transparent biblical messages my soul was looking for. If your mental health is important and you want to get better or want/need help for a loved one, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Waste of time and money with no results in my case. If there overall rating is around a 1, its because there is no offering of a zero rating. Most people dont have unlimited money or insurance resources, They do their best to get as much as they can as a first priority. Sure, your results MAY vary. But read reviews in multiple sites. My wife and I have been members ("Share Holders") for about one year now. We use to be members of Vineyard Columbus and never thought we would ever find a similar church; however, Vineyard Cincinnati is that church. This is a Bible believing church that is VERY welcoming and diverse. There are four services every weekend to attend and we always attend the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service. The preaching/teaching is wonderful and we have two very talented and young Pastors. Free coffee and upbeat worship music in an auditorium that seats well over a thousand people with casual dress. This church is very outreach oriented and a very giving church to the community. My only complaint (as a trumpet player) would be a need for more diverse musical styles and instrumentation (outside the Vineyard Rhythm Guitar Box). Always numerous groups and classes to attend and many opportunities to be involved. Awesome children's ministry as well as a Youth Center that is fabulous. There is a Healing Center where one can receive numerous and diverse services including food and clothes. I have been coming to VINEYARD for five years now. My son loves the church and it is very important to me that he learns about God. I really loved the ministry too. Totally come as you are and welcome with open arms --- when I FIRST STARTED COMING. Here recently I hate to say my personal experience hasn't been well. I grew up a preacher's daughter of a large church so what I DO know is that it takes a lot of GIFTED INDIVIDUALS to make the church welcoming. Everyone from the greeter at the door to the pastor himself. You should ALWAYS walk into church and feel like you have come home. At the Vineyard I have experience volunteers and workers who are rude when I have asked questions (although I know names b/c I asked I won't mention) people who have turned their nose up, almost as though they think they are better. It's so disheartening. This has been my experience over the last 6 months. Like I said I have been attending for five years. It doesn't make me as happy to come as when I first started coming . I continue to come because it is still a great experience for my son. I write this because I hope that someone will read and get out of this that being part of a church ESPECIALLY part of the representation of the church means to fully embrace individuals. I was always told to treat EVERYONE who comes into the church as though you were meeting Jesus Himself. Honestly you are meeting Him in each individual because HE LIVES in all of us. I was sick and tired of the judgmental attitude of Pentecostals. I wanted a church/leader who would put God first and not himself or his ego. The concept of showing God's love by adopting an attitude of service is exactly what Jesus did when He was here on earth. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. If you let it, this place will change your life. VCC recently celebrated (last weekend, in fact) their 25th anniversary in Cincinnati. It was a celebration big enough to take up most of the Cintas center- which is a testament to the number of people who are finding something worth looking for at the Vineyard. Yes, the sheer size of the place is intimidating. For this reason, there is much emphasis placed on finding your way in a smaller community. Oh, there- that word- community- is really what this place is all about. I haven't met a single person there whom I ever felt was judging me, and I've been going to VCC since they were in the old building on Crescentville! They run a program called Alpha every so often (at least they used to) which is designed to foster getting to know God in a very intimate way. It was a majorly life-changing experience for me. I have also received help from the Healing Center, which is one of the major initiatives that the church undertook 3 years ago as part of a program called the Luke 4 Challenge- which mobilized the church to make a difference in the name of Christ for our City, our Future and our World. The contemporary worship service is fantastic, and it's easy to feel at home there. Look for me and my family in the balcony at 10:15 (or if we're feeling sleepy 11:45). For years we avoided the Vineyard because (we thought) it was just too big for us. Then one Saturday evening as we were leaving Dick's Sporting Goods, there was a ton of traffic coming up the hill. Having forgotten the location of the church, we thought there must have been a concert or something down the hill. . . so we went investigating. When we saw the sign, "Welcome to the Vineyard" we about croaked! Figuring it was God's direction (we had been looking for a church for 6 months after our house church finished its course) and we tried out the Vineyard the next day. That was 4 years ago! We attend the Saturday service and brew coffee for the wonderful folks that come thru those doors. We love greeting people and building relationships with them. We also started a small group and have developed close relationships there. Also, whenever we decide to volunteer anywhere within that big place, we are blessed beyond measure. The leadership is great, and the pastor preaches the truth of the Gospel. That was the main thing for us and we have been very happy here. read more

Vineyard is a very nice church. I'm not claiming to be religious, and I have my vices for sure, but I think I know enough to write some interesting points for someone thinking of attending a service here. The good thing about Vineyard is they are not into judging the not so religious. They really try to love and serve people, and leave the judging to God. I can't tell you how many hypocritical religious people I have known growing up who harshly condemn others, and then turn around and do the exact same things(or worse). You don't find many people like that at Vineyard. They are also not big into politics like the religious right seems to be. It's no big deal there. I know both conservative Republicans and liberal Democrats who attend VCC, and they all get along. People from more traditional and formal religions should be warned, this place is really different, and you might be shocked. Everyone wears jeans and they all bring cups of coffee into the service. There are even cup holders for the coffee. It kind of resembles a large movie theater more than a church. But the most surprising thing for some people is they literally play rock worship music. I'm talking electric guitars and drums, the whole works. The services last roughly an hour, maybe 70 minutes max. The crowd can be overwhelming. They know this and try to steer members into small home bible study groups so you can know others on a more personal basis. They are famous for doing good deeds, such as passing out free cans of Pepsi or bags of food in poor areas. If you like Joel Osteen's style, you'll probably love this church. If Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell are your heroes, then not so much. read more

Vineyard just feels like home. At first, it may seem large and overwhelming but it's just casual enough to make me comfortable and they take the Jesus thing totally seriously. They greet you and invite you in from day 1 and get you connected so you don't get the "big church' feel that is so intimidating. They are all about serving the community and what could be better? Everyone is great and if you want a place that is comitted to changing your life and using you to love the city- this is it. :) read more

The VINEYARD is an awesome place. I have always felt so welcome. I have NEVER ONCE felt judged nor have I ever seen any evidence of anyone else being judged. I have seen all types of clothing, hair,piercings.....anything and everything. One person is not treated any differently than the next. EVERYONE is WELCOME and LOVED. The pastoral staff,hospitality team,musicians and everyone else involved is just AMAZING. I reccomend anyone who is looking for a Church and a closer relationship with God to give VCC atry.
