So he was able to give a very detailed written report of his inspections, along with recommendations about how issues might be addressed in the future. But his real differential is his video. He records video and audio commentary as he goes around the building, so you have a record of his observations and recommendations that corresponds to the physical locations he's talking about. He can point out cracks, show you how things are connected. He can show you termite damage. He includes thermal imaging. It's really an amazing, full service, and not really for much more than I've paid for a standard building and pest inspection before. He adds some commentary to the start and end of the video, giving you an up-front summary. I've already used selected bits of his video to get a quote for some planned renovations before the builder has even seen it because of Steve's detailed discussion. An excellent service. In terms of pricing, a few people have said Amber are exxy and I could get cheaper elsewhere but to be honest, I found their pricing on par with someone like Bunnings and the Amber products are much nicer - although I should note, I'm totally lazy and have no inclination for the full on bargain hunting some people go for so I don't doubt there are cheaper options. All in all, it was a really positive experience and if I do further backyard renovation work (God forbid, I'd rather peel my skin off than deal with tradesmen again), I'd just go straight to these guys.

The delivery driver was aggressive and unwilling to follow instructions, and as such I called the proprietor to politely put forward my dissatisfaction to try and resolve the issue. I was again met with hostility and an extremely defensive tone. This franchise is a family run business and unfortunately I found them to be extremely rude and unprofessional, unwilling to meet customer expectations or to resolve issues. I have since learnt several other people have come across similar issues with Amber Kingsford and will undoubtably never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone. I have received goods from a competitor supplier ABL TILES in St Mary's and have been 100% satisfied with their service from start to finish.
