They're solid enough. You can get 500g or 750g of 'em. They're tender, smoky, flavorful, and obviously generously apportioned. Cool wood-like plates and nice heavy knives. My husband went for a 750g plate (215kr). The cole slaw and baked potato that accompanied the ribs were tasty! For dessert, I asked if they had just some ice cream, which they did (not on the menu) and it came with two generous scoops of really good/rich vanilla ice cream - only for 29kr. (cheap for the Danish standard). This was great! I'd have loved to give them 4 stars, but the service we got on this day was not very good (our server was not friendly- a bit mean indeed) and thus minus 1 star - sorry :(

Good selection of seafood, too, both fresh, smoked, and cured. Typical fresh selections include cod, sole, and other local fish species, as well as Atlantic salmon. They do their own fish cakes and fried fish filets (a Danish specialty and a lunch favourite) throughout the day. Service is good and fast, and they are quite helpful in picking the right fish and giving you instructions on what to do with it once you're back home. Good selection of condiments and other things that pair well with the fish they sell. Would have loved (and added the final star to my review) for them to have MSC and ASC certified fish among their selection, preferably on their entire selection, to help customer choose more sustainable options, but that's my only beef with this place. Definitely the go-to place in Ebeltoft for fish, and a must-do if you're spending the weekend in one of the areas many vacation houses.
