Our group of 7 each found something, from vintage watches, rings, necklaces, earrings, Asian, African, Catholic, Christian, Buddism, Victorian, 70s, 80s, 90s, Mermaid...and so many more. We spent over an hour picking jewelry. There is a daily sales board right at the front, so you can save even more off the very reasonable vendor prices. There is a selection of furniture, books, and other items but to be honest we never made it past the vintage jewelry section. I spent less then $30 for 2 earrings, 2 bracelets, and 2 necklaces. It's a lot, around 500,000 dollars per year. A contractor friend then told us about Boys and Girls of America, so we started taking things there. We learen everything earned at the resale shop (on 377) stays in Hood County. Nice. Then our neighbor started volunteering at People Helping People (PHP), which we did not know about. We identified more with PHP and what they do. No one gets paid. It's all 100% volunteer, all the way to the top. We even saw a past Granbury mayor volunteering here! So now we take our items to PHP, and have even shopped here. There are two, indoor, resale shops. When we need something, we come here first. I found a great pair of matching cufflinks and tie bar here. Thúy got some nice knives to use in the garden and some cake pans. So now PHP is our go to place for donating, and shopping for hard to find items. Most of the staff is very friendly (they do tend to get very wrapped up with regulars and ignore those of us who COULD become regulars). In the past their tags had the full price on one side and then dates and discounts on the back. Now you must get out the reading glasses to see the 8 point font of the discounts on the front bottom. It's also impossible to get a price of anything in the case. Prices are well hidden and when inconvenicing a clerk to open the case you may be treated as if "if you have to ask, you likely can't afford it". I do feel that they were friendlier before. I have shopped here about 10 years and will continue to on a monthly or less basis. However, if the store was more welcoming I would likely go more often and spend more with them.

This place is loaded with a unique collection of all kinds of artsy home décor from all over. The items will appeal to men & women alike. There is also a variety of unusual jewelry made just for their shop. There are all kinds of bird cages, antique signs, home décor and more-including a pickup door from the early 1900's. Not only is the collection unique but as my husband said, the gentlemen has an eye for grouping collections in the most beautiful way.
