I love the selection, have found fun toys for my daughter when she was young and re-donated when she grew out of them. I have found some great cookware i.e., Corning Ware pieces, small kitchen appliances throughout the years. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. And they often have some sort of promotion with '1/2 off days' or everything green 1/2 off for St. Patricks day. Oh, and they often have throwback music playing which adds to the kitschy ambience.

They dress people who are looking for a new start and help them get professional clothes to go to interviews and such. The donations for the store come from very nice and wealthy donors in San Francisco and other areas of Marin County. The prices here are amazing. I mostly shop for myself but occasionally find something well enough price that I could resell it. They have a five dollar rack where they put everything that hasn't sold in two months. I found some amazing things on that rack today. I also bought myself some lovely things spent more than five dollars of course but not anywhere near the actual value of these designer pieces if you are anywhere near this place, you must stop by and support this wonderful cause.

They also carried more conventional, common brands. The woman running the shop was really nice. I'm glad I only had 15 minutes. I serendipitously arrived at this place whilst on a stroll…read morethru Tiburon, and it ended up being a highlight of my adventure. As soon as I walked in, a lovely employee says: "Today, all yellow tags are 50% off. It's your lucky Friday the 13th!" - and it was! I learned that there are different deals based on the different days, and that they are a non-profit organization that helps contribute to local communities! From beginning to end, their customer service was pleasant and helpful - they set me up with a dressing room and made sure my hands were free to do more looking around. The store organization made it easy to find pieces within their well-curated collection: from funky to formal - and the various unique finds in-between.... My only wish is that they were open a bit later so that my partner could have looked around in the store as well because their men's clothes selection was also very impressive. (He was outside looking after the dog since animals are not allowed inside). Just as a heads up: there are little spaces in the dressing room, so it is not fully private.... but thankfully the staff was on it with their service so I felt safe the entire time. Also, there appeared to only be two dressing rooms, so I am happy that I arrived at the time I did. All-in-all, a wonderful experience and I look forward to the next time I am in Tiburon so that I can explore this store again.

" I should have known we were in trouble at that point but I was intrigued as we carefully walked through single file trying to take it all in mass piles of eclectic treasures but mostly trash, everywhere !! I found 4 items i thought to my self I would pay at most $ 100 I politely asked the owner how much after a long pause he barked out $ 200 !! I immediately set 2 items down and asked ok how about these 2 items he responded with $ 45 each i asked would you consider $ 50 for the pair ? a fair price as I buy and sell for a living. the owners response and I quote " i would rather set them on fire then accept that price !! " mind you he made no mention of any sale and it was quite obvious that inspight of closing his shop forever within the next hour he had no intention of selling a dam thing !! I had hundreds of dollars cash money in my pocket ready to buy , but the owner was rude and simply unwilling to sell anything !! needless to say my wife and I left empty handed and blown away by the off the wall experience and incredibly rude owner !!
