I still can not get over what happened with my 97 year old father's estate sale. It has been 2…read moreyears and options made no attempt to rectify the situation. My father had hid a lockbox under his bed years ago, and he had dementia so I am sure he forgot about it. A lady at the estate sale was kind enough to leave a note in my dad's mailbox telling me she had witnessed Russ taking the lockbox and putting it in his car. He never even mentioned it to me until I confronted him about it. Of course he denied it, and denied and denied it. I still, after 2 years, think of items that were never reported as sold. I should have kept a better inventory, but I trusted him. I had never had an estate sale before. Thank God my Dad never found out that he was taken advantage of. I will NEVER forget how Russ took advantage . I wonder how many more people he has done this to.

An example: an open bottle of Canadian Club whiskey labeled at $100! so when it doesn't sell, even on half price day, the items become the property of Options. We also noticed many items that never made it to sale day. We have no doubt that many classy items are earmarked for the "boutique" which Options operates. They might tell someone that whatever doesn't sell is donated to charity. This is not completely true as their trucks and workers removed all kinds of items a few days before the thrift store folks came to vacate the home. Please do not be fooled.
