I also was looking for some clothing for my one-year-old grandson. They had quite a bit but it was not separated, according to size. So I browsed through a selection of it, but it was too difficult to try to find 24 month outfits with all of the other sizes mixed in. They had a variety of typical items found at thrift stores like clothing and household goods and limited books. I feel like the donations were slightly poor quality at this location. The one positive was the young man who worked at the cash register, who greeted every person and was nice and had great manners!

They have a variety of adult clothing and some books. Most of the books seem to be non-fiction and children. There were hardly any fictional books. I do believe their prices are somewhat high, especially since a lot of their items tend to be on the older side. I followed up this conversation by sending a picture of the doors to the coordinator, who said they were interested in the doors. I was going to arrange for their free pickup, but it turns out this is quite inconvenient. They schedule based on your zip code, which dictates the day of pickup. Then, the pickup window is the entire day. So you have to be home and waiting for the pickup on a random weekday, the entire day. If you work, you just can't make this work. The lady told me that instead, you can drop off the doors at the donation center. Today, I borrowed a trailer, loaded up the doors, and took them to the store. At the store, the man told me at that he could not take my doors, without even looking at them. They don't want doors, they can't sell doors, and they definitely can't take as many doors as I brought with me. Not to mention, the man was standoffish and acted like my bringing in a donation was an inconvenience or something. This would be fine with me if I had not already been told they wanted them and to bring them in. So yeah, pretty hard to make a donation to this place. It was a waste of time this afternoon, and it's a shame these matching doors in decent condition now have to go to the dump.

They should have a mirror available for trying on blazers/overcoats in the store so that you don't have to wait for the dressing room line.

It's pretty small but they have good prices. I mostly go for the household items since most of the clothing has a tendency to be pretty outdated. They do have a HUGE HUGE furniture section. I have consigned dozens of items (and probably bought as many pieces) and always appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. I have introduced several friends to the store who have consigned furniture. Recently, we have noticed that a young woman who accepts items falls short in the customer service area. She has an air of self importance, and as my friend said recently, acts as if she is too busy saving the world to stop and help us mere mortals. Like any business, Couches to Curios would not exist without customers but this person doesn't seem to understand that. The rest of the staff, from owner Becky, manager Patrick (her son), and the sales people are all great.
