The inventory is incredible, deep and varied in a way you rarely see anymore. And the gentleman who runs the store is something else: unbelievably knowledgeable, and he knew exactly where every single record was in the shop. He made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Explained to him that I don't know much about these albums, I don't know what they're supposed to have or not and I'm not trying to get rich, just make a little pocket money to help me out. Here's a few quotes from my visit: "Well you won't be paying any bills by selling an of THESE albums" "BEATLES, BEATLES, BEATLES! Everyone brings me these albums and thinks they're sitting on a gold mine." "I'm the one who has to clean, resleeve and get them ready to resell and turn a profit. In fact, I'm probably over paying you with what I offered you for the box." "This album doesn't even have its sleeve!!" "DO YOU SEE THE COVER OF THIS ALBUM?" I would have honestly taken less than what he offered me! But after being yelled at like I was purposefully trying to sell him damaged goods, I don't think I'll shop here, let alone recommend them to anyone.

Took a minute for the dog to amble away. The store itself is quaint but the selection is extremely average and very over priced but that seems to be the trend now. These shops who are pricing $5 records at $15-$20 will not survive. They had no audiophile quality records but lots of poorly recorded faux audiophile pressings in the bins - am certain the kid behind the counter had no clue Ironically was gonna buy something to support the store but found it on Amazon for much less.

I'm glad to see they moved into a larger location so it's not as crowded as it used to be and there's a much higher selection available. All the records were well organized and the prices seemed in line with what's available online perhaps a bit lower depending on what record you were looking for. They had a clean restroom in the back available to patrons of the store. Also the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help if we couldn't find something and even offered us some free stickers with our purchase! With being one of the only record stores in the area they are doing a great job!

I'm a fan…read moreof the original vinyl versus a modern day repress/remaster and I'd prefer to have one that even has some cracks and pops in it to a flawless repress. Palm Beach Vinyl always has a great selection of older used albums and their prices go from understandable all the way to down right cheap. They package the albums very securely and always ship very quickly. I'll continue ordering from them until my wife tells me I have to stop.
