When I walked in on Thursday, April 16th, 2026... The first person I saw was the owner. His name is Charlie, and he sits at the first table when you enter. Here's the conversation that ensued... Please know that everything Charlie said was said with rudeness and distain... As if I was interrupting him in every way. Charlie--Help you? Me--Yes, I would like to have these nails soaked off and get a new set. Do I need to set an appointment? Charlie--what color you want? Me--I'm not sure Charlie--Colors over there, pick one. A few moments later... Charlie--what color? Me--Either number 315 or 217, I'm trying to decide. Charlie--(throwing his hands up in the air) PICK ONE!!!!!! Me-- Number 315, I guess. Charlie-- Sit down. Are these dipped nails? Who did them? Me--Yes they are dipped. Another nail salon did them but I'm just not satisfied with their work Charlie--(throws hands up in the air again), I don't care about anyone else. Tell me what you want and I do it. I probably won't go there again... I've been, a couple of times, for a pedicure... that was fine. However, before my wedding, I went in to have my nails done and I thought they looked great. They were too long because no matter how many times I asked to have them filed farther, the woman doing them was like... "That's enough?" I got tired of the back and forth. Then I went back to have them filled and she (same woman) ended up doing my white tips with a powder, which I know is typical, and I really had to PUSH to have her make them shorter. I have to type for my job and having anything hinder me typing over 70 wpm is unacceptable. I just wasn't going to be bullied or pressured into something I didn't want, at this point. I was so focused on the length, that before I left, I didn't notice the inconsistencies. The "white tip" portion of my nails are not even, from one hand to the other. The nails are WAY too thick. And lastly, when she filed down the edges of the acrylic, she didn't smooth them enough and they're totally visible through the fill. I had high hopes, since the pedicures were good. However, once I realized the woman that had done my nails was the owner's wife, I didn't just have high hopes, I really had high expectations... I attached a couple of pictures where the circled spot shows both of my ring fingers (I tried to get them as close together as possible), and the difference in the length of the "white tip," and the other, regardless of the fact that the nails are growing out, shows that the original acrylic clearly shows through the fill. The worst part is, the people that work here seem to be arrogant and pushy, and would never admit fault. So, while it was pleasant with my feet to begin with, I'm going to have to find a new nail salon! Best of luck! read more

Quite possibly the worst nail salon I have been to for many reasons 1. They were rude to my bridesmaid. Scoffed at her broken nail and threw his tool down towards her foot because he was so annoyed with her nail 2. Charged $25 to paint my toenails and put lotion on my legs. The basic pedi comes with literally nothing but a water soak 3. Took 3 hours to do two pedis and one manicure. We left at hour 3 without my bridesmaid having her nails done 4. Rushed through my nails which required them to be oddly misshaped 5. Told us there was "no wait" when we called ahead. Took 45 mins to even be placed in a chair 6. Were blatantly talking about the customers 7. Told a customer they were "keeping proof of her payment so she couldn't come back in a month stating she double paid, while raising their voice at her. 8. Paid $80 for this. My wedding is TOMORROW and got the pleasure to deal with them. read more

if I could give this esta zero starts I would. I called and made an appointment for my nails and eyelashes. The man who ans the phone was extremely rude. I had previously been told I needed to make an appointment to get the lashes done, so that is what I did. when we got here he was extremely rude as he did my nails. They are subpar and when I said something about my lashes he become rude and hostile. I would have walked out of he hadn't have already started. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Not only is the owner rude, he is also completely heartless when it comes to his customers. He "jokes," very rudely and makes you feel so small. Men are rude, My pedicure was horrible, the man argued with me, he wasn't even going to trim my cuticles until I asked him about it... it is messy, trash in random places around the tables where they do your nails, my nails were sloppy and filed crooked. Stopped here on our way home from Arkansas. I use say that I have had lots of pedicures in my lifetime and this was the worst experience I have ever had. The place was poorly furnished. The towel he used smelled like cigarette smoke. The guy that did my pedicure was very rude and spent about 15 seconds massaging each leg. This place will never get my business. A family member went in to get her nails done and the nail tech proceeded to tell her she shouldn't have a handicap sticker because there was nothing wrong with her. This man is not her doctor and has no idea what all she has been through. Just because a disability isn't visible doesn't mean it isn't there. The worst part is that he did this loudly in front of other people. She was humiliated. When she tried to explain that she did, in fact, have a disability, he laughed at her. She went home in tears. Talk about terrible customer service! I hope he realizes he has lost several customers over this. Did a great job on my nails! My hands shake like crazy from anxiety, but they made me completely at ease and did a great job anyhow.

Pedicure was very short. Rubbed each legs for about 30 seconds then painted toes. It was awful. Will never be back!

I've been to many places in Dallas and Fort Worth and they did just as good of a job without all the flash and flair that you would get at a big city nail salon. The man who did my pedicure kept making nasty comments about my feet and kept a sneer of disgust on his face the entire time he was doing my pedicure. Been there 3 times before and was great, BUT today was really really bad. I took my mom (shes 83) for a pedicure and manicure. Did not watch over tech just was waiting to get a set of solar nails done. He finished with her and took the next person in line and started doing her nails, leaving my mom at the pedicure chair. I went to help remove toe separators from my mom and help with shoes. Noticed pedicure was not good compared to the 3 times before (some of her toenails were left thick and not filed down to thin them, they had not cleaned around the toenails and under her nails when doing manicure). Commented on thick nails and a gentlemen came over and said they could not do that it would start her nail bleeding. I explained and showed him how thick the toenail was and that it could be done and not start bleeding and on our prior visits they had done it. He said no and walked away before could say anything about them not cleaning around toenails and the dirt under the nails had to tell another tech and she got a tool and clean the fingernail and started to file the nail down on big toe and then said could not do it. The tech that did her pedicure and manicure never came over or spoke to us. I was left standing with my mom all employees walked away. Help get her shoes on went to inform the gentleman (he was doing another customer's nails) that had came over to the pedicure chair that was not satisfied pedicure and did think should pay or pay full price. He said I would pay and I ask if he would look at the pedicure again so I could show him the area around the toenails that were not cleaned. He said no that I had not sad anything about the area around toenail earlier that I was mad because they would not file the toenail down. He also stated that he spoke very good english and I never made a comment at all the whole time in the business about anyone not speaking good english. (He never gave me that chance to bring up the area around her toenails not clean because he walked away from her in the chair earlier and I did not want to make a scene). I went to the check out counter and ask to speak to the manager and was informed that the gentleman who I had been talking to was the manager. Ask for a business card with his name on it as was would be filing a complaint with the BBB. The manager came over and said I owed $40 which I paid in cash and he made a comment something to the effect of all these customers see what you are doing. I never got rude, raised my voice and tried not to make a scene. As we were leaving the shop he made a comment that it if I wanted her nails filed down go see a podiatrist. I will never go back there and do not recommend this business to anyone with a manager like that. read more

Charlie and the staff at Vip Nails are all great. Make you feel comfortable and do a great job on pedicures and manicures. Just recently into the Nexgen organic nails which last a good 3-4 weeks. Highly recommended to give V.I.P Nails a try. read more
