I feel bad leaving a negative review but I don't want this to happen to someone else. I went on Saturday morning and my pedicure was great but a different woman did my manicure. Unfortunately she cut 8/10 of my cuticles to the point of bleeding. My ring finger on my left hand bled for a few hours after I left. The girl seemed young so it may just be an experience thing, but I'm very worried about infection at this point. It's the next day and my cuticles are very inflamed and sore. I should have asked for the service to be discontinued but I was worried to ask. read more

I have been coming to VIP nails for over a year. They always do an amazing job so for that they get 3 stars. They also do provide a complimentary wine, soda, or beer with pedicures. Now as time has went on, they've drastically increased their prices. I paid $85 for a brand new full set, went in to get a fill and they tried to charge me $75. That's just ridiculous. They started charging $15 extra just for gel polish. Another extra $5 for French tips. $15 extra for length. It's became to expensive so that is why I've docked 1 star. And the workers... some are super sweet. Some you can tell their talking about you but you can't understand so it can get uncomfortable sometimes. Clean location. I have to say that I really love this place. I love the aesthetic. It's clean very professional. Everyone was really kind. I paid a good amount of money to get my nails done and I think it was just the lady that I got obviously you can't judge everyone by one person's work, but unfortunately, she kind of didn't really execute the nails very well and for having paid a good amount of money that was definitely disappointing. Definitely wouldn't mind going back and trying a different nail technician though if you look at the photos at the top of my nails, it's really bad. It's every single nail I don't know if she just forgot to drill that part on all the nails, but the transition is not very good. I felt really bad not tipping because I always tip $10-$20 when I get my nails done but this was just not very good. I should've probably like pointed it out and said something, but I didn't really notice until I got to the register and I just don't want to create drama so anyways, I'm leaving a review. read more

I received pedicure and gel polish on top of my natural nail. pedicure great. Lilly literally took off my natural finger nails to the skin with grinder before applying gel polish. it's been 3 weeks and they still hurt. I had to return next day for polish chipped. also burned for 2 days after. absolutely not normal. I am not sure she is even licensed. I was concerned about the practice that use sterilize. I went in to get my nails done. Had picture of design I wanted something similar that would fit on my real nails. The tech cut my nails off placed on tips and refused to cut them short like I wanted. everytime I told her shorter she just cut little off. Then I got Charged $60 plus tip. $5 was for tips I didn't want or ask for. The design turned out really cute however my nails are lot longer than wanted. I work in a job that really needs short nails. I felt like she didn't listen to what I want, partly due to language barrier. I felt like the price was excessive for what I got. The lady did alright job but could tell she was distracted and hardly put any effort into it. I still felt like I needed to go home and do it myself. i've been coming to this salon for over a year now and i have only been completely and utterly satisfied once. i don't want to be "that person" that complains about every little detail, and truthfully, i don't want to be that person that complains about customer service work at all. i left today with a set that didn't match the idea i had in mind, but i figured i could made due. i didn't notice the harsh grooves or uneven nails until after i left and saw them in natural lighting, which has been my experience every. other. time. i can see that *some* of the employees do put their all into their work, but it's definitely time for me to find a new salon. really hope y'all are more confident to relay dissatisfaction! read more

They over charge you from what they quote you when you set up the appointment. I had Shellac on my finger nails and it only lasted 6 days. They said it should last 10 to 14 days. The salon is neat and clean. The nail tech I had was nice and friendly. Due to the over charging and my finger nails not lasting I wont be back. read more
