After a quick search online found this gem. The hotel is 20 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes drive to the beach, located in the town of Sarigerme. Beach is a short drive away. $5 fee gets you and your car into the beach area, and another $5 gets you couple of lounges and an umbrella. $50/day windsurfing nearby was a plus. There are showers and a small cafe serving very affordable beer and snacks. The hotel has really nice decorations, a nice private pool with lounges, nice soft music throughout. Simple and efficient rooms with A.C. Very nice owners trying to accommodate every little wish. Excellent breakfast included, including many types of cheeses, jams, breads and such. Dinner menu is great. Probably the best cheese plate I've had for $12. Clientele mixed; local families with kids to European couples. and best of all; Quiet.. This place has everything you need from friendly faces, beautiful smiles, caring individuals, and a team that works together toward the same goal. They make your time at the resort, memorable, meaningful, exciting, etc. even the bird mamas trust their baby birds to take their first flight at this resort. The true spirit of this resort is; a place of love, Calibrating one's balance with nature. They have an amazing breakfast which can be made to order. Additionally, they have a bar, an amazing pool and if you're in the mood pets to pet. Perhaps you're more of the grape picking individual and that's what can happen here. You may even be the type that likes to lay in a hammock, well you can do that here too. It's not far from the beach and actually this place is known for turtles hiding their eggs and then when they're ready to hatch, they all head back to the sea where it all began. Staying at this resort you're just minutes away from the action. Their AC works amazing! On…read moredeciding to return to Olu we checked it out online and noticed the name had changed to DeLuxe. Now did it deserve the change in name to an upgraded name. I can say a definite YES. It deserves more, it deserves another star rating. On arrival at 2.00 am we were met from our cab by a young bellboy who immediately took charge of our cases. Reception went smoothly, quickly and in a friendly manner. At that time of the morning we needed that, thank you. The young lad took us to our room and explained everything. The room was beautiful and we could see the upgrade. Comfy bed with wall mounted flat screen TV (never used by us, too much to do). Armchair and, unusually for the continent, coffee making facilities. Air con came in the price, again unusually as most charge extra. The only extra charge was for the safe but at a reasonable cost. The bathroom was wonderful, walk in shower with wonderful powerful sprays. Toiletries with the bonus of toothbrushes, shower caps, sewing etc etc. Again, looking at higher star hotels. Breakfast was tasty with such a fantastic choice. Taken in the Olive Grove restaurant. Nice restaurant open to the outside. Always spotlessly clean and the staff are great. We noticed that the pool had changed with a separate childrens pool. A jacuzzi pool was a very new feature but, unfortunately, was spoiled as we left by a family using it with their children. One without a nappy????? It had been mentioned by previous reviews that sunbeds were taken with towels early in the morning. I am pleased that Management read reviews and countered this problem by stipulating that any towels on beds before 9.00 am will be removed and can be collected from reception. Trust me, it worked. We always found a sunbed after breakfast. The poolside bar was really nice with reasonable priced drinks and a wonderful lunchtime menu. Run by John T, who we remember from those years back. He hasn't changed. I must mention the cleaning service of the rooms. Towels changed every day and a total clean of the room. This by a wonderful lady who we remembered from our first visit. A lovely lady who would do anything for you and noticed that my partner had put a cushion under her pillow to raise it slightly. That evening there were two pillows. That lady noticed. All in all a wonderful stay and thank you everyone for a great holiday. When we return to Olu, you will see Rakiman (my name to some of the staff) and his partner again.

A return visit to this 3 star hotel. People say never go to the same place twice as it never…read morereaches expectations. In this case totally untrue. We were greeted as, not guests, but returning friends. There is some refurbishment of rooms going on but the 'older' rooms are more than adequate. Nice pool bar area with good service and extremely good lunch time food which saves time in not leaving the pool. Rooms are cleaned, spotlessly, every day with clean sheets and towels (is this 3 star?). Only one drawback, and this is being addressed by management I am told, is that on occasions, there was a drain odour in the bathroom. However, would we go back there.....an almighty YES. Great hotel, great service and very friendly staff who make sure they get to know you.

Beautiful pool and environment.  We stayed in the attic suite which has a hot tub for 2.  The room and bathroom was spacious. Our stay included free breakfast where we were able to order menemen and omelettes.  The breakfast was buffet style and include heaping amounts of veggies, fruit, and bread.  I loved the fresh tomatoes and cucumber.  The location of the hotel is perfect. We are walkable distance to the blue lagoon and many restaurants/bars.  We were able to drive to a variety of other locations such as saklikent gorge, tlos, fethiya, yaka park and gizlikent waterfall. The staff was absolutely wonderful and kind.  They were very friendly and made us feel like we were home. The only downfall was our internet was horrible in our room. They attempted to fix it by adding a router in our room but it wasnt the best. I think the internet throughout turkey just isnt good in general.  The parking is free at the hotel but the lot is small, requiring the office staff to keep our car keys to move cars to get other cars out.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! This has been one of the…read moreworst hotel experiences of my life! I stayed for a bit and initially liked it, so I extended my stay. that was where I went horribly wrong. The hotel manager - i think his name is Yavus - booked me for the extension and was EXTREMELY rude. I really should have cursed him out and walked out then. A few days later, he insisted I change rooms immediately because my room needed to be painted. I was starving and on my way to lunch, but again, I said nothing. The toilet in the new room was disgusting. I asked that the staff clean the toilet. When I got back in, a few hours later, they hadn't cleaned the toilet, but had doused the entire bathroom with water - even the toilet seat. Again, the toilet was filthy. After that, my door refused to lock. Yavuz saw me having problems with the door. He concluded that it needed batteries and said he would take care of it later. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving my things behind an unlocked door. He told me there were cameras in every hallway and that he would definitely take care of it. I show up to my room 7 hours later and the door is not yet fixed. I call down and explain this to them in what little Turkish I know. I tell them the "room won't close"...they say they will send someone up immediately. Half an hour later, I call back and explain to them that the problem is the door. They finally send someone up. I show the guy that the door opens without a keycard. He simply looks at me and says to use the deadbolt instead. I try to explain that as a paying customer and single woman, I need a locking door. Yavuz runs in with a screwdriver and starts taking the batteries out of the door lock. At that point, I just started cursing him out, but he didn't understand a word of it. He just smiled and nodded and tried to pretend that he came back "later" as he had promised. "Later" is not supposed to be 7 hours later. A day later, the upstairs toilet started leaking onto my toilet. I realized that if I called them, they would do nothing about it, so I told them I needed a new room. After a day, I was allowed to move back into my old room. It had just been painted and was covered in paint fumes - and I have asthma. I tried to explain this to the concierge but, once again, she looked at me like a deer in headlights . She was, however, absolutely insistent that the maid come clean the two specks of dirt on the balcony. DO NOT STAY HERE! JUST DON'T DO IT!
