I always judge a coffee shop by the quality of their plain espresso shot. I find that's the best…read moreway of knowing if the coffee is actually good or in need of milk products. So that said, as this was our first visit, we stopped in for an espresso. The baristas were very friendly and welcoming and even informed us that their usual espresso shot was a double shot and asked if that was ok for us. Which was great because that would have been too much for us today and we were able to split the shot between us. The espresso was delicious with a delicate flavor of butter and dark chocolate. It had a slight bitterness to it, but not an over roasted or burned taste. The flavor changed as the shot cooled and was actually sweeter once cooled to room temperature which was surprising. Overall a great tasting espresso experience! We will definitely go back whenever we are in town and I look forward to trying their cinnamon rolls next stop in!

Great staff, quality products, excellent price. I just barely made it to the party in time (my fault, not theirs) with the gift. Very happy with the whole transaction. The birthday party was not only a success but turned into a reveal when the "Bithday Girl" announced that she and her husband are expecting. What a great day, and I thank Bible Baptist Bookstore for their being an important part of a day that will always be a fond memory.
