I took a fall this past winter and really compromised my left arm. I felt it would get better in time so I didn't really do much about the pain and immobility that was happening. Eventually I went to the doctor because it was so painful and I could no longer use the arm. They did an X-ray and gave me a referral for Physical Therapy. My PA referred me to Integrated Physical Therapy. I have moved from another state so I hoped for the best. I am so happy that this is where she referred me to. It is so totally amazing. I can't believe how much I have progressed. The X-Ray showed the injury but also that I had some Osteoarthritis in there. My Rotator cuff and whole arm was affected. They have treated me with E-stim (electrical stimulation), Ultrasonic wand procedure, and with Myofascial Release (which feels like deep tissue but really is a stretching procedure that works.) I also do certain Home exercises. I am so amazed with the progress I have made and the mobility that has come back to my arm. Carla (the owner) and Sarah, another Therapist is very knowledgeable and personable. They are very welcoming and a joy to work with in all manners, I highly recommend them and can't say enough about them. I hope that if you need Physical Therapy that you use them. I'm a big dude with a high pain threshold, so its never the pain part that bugs me its the feeling of a needle under the skin that gets me. The amazing part is you can literally barely feel the needles at all pain wise and you can't feel them under your skin like you do regular needles like when you get your blood drawn. I'm going to try to quantify the pain scale in hopes it helps some one. As far as needle pain/ discomfort the acupuncture is a 1 on the scale. I would say a finger prick for a blood test is a 5. I would say a needle in your arm for drawing blood is a 6. I would say needles for dental work are a 7. Epidural and 8. And Radio Ablasion needles are a firm 10. A papercut or using a needle to get a sliver out of your finger are 10x more painful than these needles. Literally I did not notice most of them going in! Now, as far as atmosphere, it is very quiet and peaceful. Anna make you feel very comfortable. She has that "old soul" vibe that instantly give you trust. She took the time to understand my story and background before cutting to the chase. I appreciate that because it is the mark of a good practioner. It means they will cater there treatment plan instead of using a 1 size all approach. I am writing this review the same day as my appointment, so I cant testify to the long term benefits yet obviously. However, I can say that I absolutely do feel better than when I walked in! I would describe the feeling as similar to that of when you are done with a massage. Kind of like you get your blood flow back and a pleasant tingling and feeling of oxytocin. There is absolutely no pain caused by the treatment itself. It has been hours so far and the feeling is still present. The reason I am writing this review now, rather than waiting after more treatment, is because I was so impressed with Anca and her gentleness. I plan on updating review again in the future after I have had more treatments!

Wow, like a deep tissue massage without all the bruises. Seems like the practitioner knows their stuff, since a couple of medical issues were definitely being "worked on" during the course of the session after the needles were placed. Also, can we please stop saying "needles"?! I'm a little needle phobic *tiny bit*, but they were surprisingly no big deal *YAY* The practitioner is very gentle, calming, surprisingly intuitive and overall a pleasure to interact with. I look forward to next my next session *super relaxing* Pros: -They take most insurances, call to verify yours ahead of time *things change* -My initial appt was for a medical insurance consultation. Makes sense since they have to get pre-approved for insurance payments (mine is approved for 12-sessions in advance).
