The town hall building, or Rathaus, is an interesting piece of architecture which looks at its best…read moreduring night time (check out the photos of it at night). It is centrally located, so any visitors will find it a sight hard to miss, and it is well worth stopping for.
From what I know, it is a UNESCO listed building, with its importance related to the freedom of the city. There is an interesting tour of the town hall every afternoon, where they guide you through the building providing details fo the ins and outs of the place.
Given its location, it can be difficult to get a good photo whilst avoiding the passing trams though
