Some people say Istanbul is the next Berlin and I can definitely see why. There is a thriving art scene and these guys are at the epicenter of it. The tour was incredibly informative and was a great way to get a good bearing of the city. I also felt like I really learned about what it's like living in Istanbul as a young person. Bitti Gitti has their own studio where they make art and build out the business. When street artists come to Istanbul they reach out to Bitti Gitti to help them find new places to display their art. The Doner Head piece in Beyoglu is an example of this and is a stunning work overlooking the bridge to Old City. I love what these guys are doing and highly recommend doing a tour with them when you come to Istanbul.

Two other print shops refused to work with me because I don't know enough Turkish to explain what I…read morewanted. The staff here was friendly and efficient and the store below had all sorts art supplies that I NEEDED. I highly recommend the trip out of your way to work with these people.
