The croquetas were crisp and rich, and the squash blossoms were one of the more interesting things on the table. We also ordered pizza. The crust had a nice char and chew, and the toppings were generous. I enjoyed it, although a couple of my coworkers were a little less enthusiastic. For me, the smaller plates stood out more. The room was lively, and the mix of vintage plates, copper-toned tables, and simple details gave the space a lot of personality. I also liked how naturally the menu lent itself to passing plates around and trying a little of everything. I'm glad we checked it out, especially because Lardo comes up often when people talk about eating in Mexico City. I'd happily come back and explore more of the smaller plates.
