I was looking for someone to restore a favorite photograph taken on my honeymoon over 50 yrs ago, as it had faded badly -- to the point that this color photo appeared almost to be a black-and-white shot, and I could barely recognize the faces of me and my wife. I was not sure that it could be restored. After inspecting the photo, Mark carefully explained what he could -- and could not do -- regarding the desired restoration (the photo in question was itself a print made from the missing original long ago by another studio.) He detailed the process he would use, and the areas he would attempt to restore within the photo. I appreciated this time spent at the initial visit, so that I had realistic expectations when I left that appointment. When I picked-up the photo a short time later (less than 2 weeks), I was very pleased with the results that Mark was able to achieve -- he exceeded my expectations without a doubt! The colors were restored to their original hue, with much improved contrast, and the faded, facial details were present once again -- I could recognize our smiling faces! My wife and I are very pleased to have this restored photo once again on display, and wholeheartedly recommend Mark Madere and SpectraLight Photography for your photo restoration needs.

The quote was fair and by far the best I had received from multiple businesses. They were booked out about 2 months, but when they learned I have a puppy they came out and installed some temporary fencing so she had space to run free until the fence was built. That right there is when I realized I picked the right place! Fast forward to fence installation -- Lisa kept me up-to-date on some slight delays due to the rain. All was completed in about 3 days! Honestly, I have never had a bad photo and never had an issue with products. Martha is patient with even the worst behaved dogs. She manages to get them to look at the camera and cooperate when I thought it was beyond impossible. Not only is Martha an excellent photographer, but she has a heart for rescued animals and donates much of her time and her photos to help animals in rescue find the new homes that they deserve. The experience was rushed the helpers lacked experience with pets but we overlooked it thinking the pictures would be worth it. After paying a ridiculous amount on prints and cards, since they weren't offering rights to the pictures, we waited for the pictures to arrive. I got a notification when they were ready for pickup so I drove 45 minutes to pick them up after being told that they would be at the location of the photo shoot. Turns out they weren't there. After runaround from the store and photographer who she had called I went home annoyed. Then Martha told me she would drop them off at our house. She did and half of our order was missing! Thankfully the cards turned out cute so I let the disaster go. This year I decided to try again. BIG MISTAKE. I used the website to book an appointment at 1130 at milo and me and got the confirmation email. On that day, after lugging three dogs and a cat to said location, ( no easy task) I was met by the store owner who notified me that pictures for Santa wouldn't be there until 230!!!! I called Martha who was very rude to me and she said no we are at another location. So we drove there. When we got there she gave no apology treated me like I was lying and started with the photo shoot. It was rushed, cramped and much like her attitude extremely unprofessional. I bought the rights to the photos and wanted to order Christmas cards. I was told to call her on Monday to order those. I did and was assured they would be here before Christmas. When I got the cards they looked horrible!! So bad I couldn't even use them. Not the right photos and in the middle the picture was cut off and turned the wrong way! No year was on the card either. They looked like a card a child made at a Walmart kiosk! I messaged Martha and was not offered an apology an explanation or anything. True to form very rude and unprofessional. All she said was send them back for a refund! Real nice! I don't recommend her at all. I even question whether or not it's a registered legitimate business. Stay clear of this mess and find a real photographer!
