This is one of the top florist shops I e ever seen in my life! Yes that's a big statement, but I pay attention and look for these things! The entry catches my eye every time with its matte black exterior and in such a quaint little strip of heritage houses and businesses! The fact that it's open to the street it's interesting, unusual and inviting. The selection overflowing with beautiful choices. Attention to detail is prevalent and so exciting to see what else there is to find in every nook! The service is really great and I really love that you can be a part of the creations because they have the big work bench as part of the space. How inspiring! I made a first 'discovery' of this flower shop during a rather short and brief, pre-lunch walkabout last Sunday. After we found street parking near our restaurant, and having some time before it opened, daughter and I decided to walk down to Clarke Street, for what was planned to be just an outside look at a closed restaurant. 'Vivio' was found -- located next door to the restaurant -- was open, and offered such a lovely find! We were met with a friendly welcoming outside at the entrance, and then it was a walk into what really looked, smelled, and felt like entering a lovely, colourful, fragrant garden!! For us, the sights of 'Vivio' were such a welcoming treat. And we both sure expressed several 'wows' to some of the wonderful arrangements witnessed. We looked, but at the same time, so wished we had more time -- it was not long before having to say to each other - "Yikes, we had better get back up to find and catch Mom" - and head to lunch. Such a nice first taste of a shop we look forward to getting back to soon, for some much-closer looks. *Edit to add* - we were back for another look recently, and it afforded the opportunity to look about inside more, plus, take a few photos -- flower arrangements, handcrafts, artistic displays, holiday decorations, and such. Lovely flowers and friendly staffs. Quite a busy place, today is the day before Mother's Day so there's even a line. They usually open at 9AM and close at 8PM, except weekends are 9AM TO 6PM. It used to be 9-6 only on Sundays and the rest are 9-8, but the past couple months they changed (google didn't get updated yet). They are a bit pricier compared to other places but they do have more unique flowers and really good quality. It's worth it for sure. One of my 3 favourite flower shops in (Port Moody Flowers, Floralista Flower Studio, and Vivio Flower Gallery). Most of their florists are experienced and some just work there but don't know too much about flowers. Their packaging are nice and some are quite artistic. Their flower bouquets and arrangements are not tacky at all. I love this place and highly recommend people to check it out. Whether it's a gift for someone or you have to treat yourself, this is the place. Some parking space right in front of the store but there's lots of other street parking around the area. Walkable to bus stops and skytrain stations too. read more

First day in Vancouver for the very first time and after arriving in the city had to go visit my teacher whom I haven't seen for many many years. I didn't know where to buy her flowers. I asked the concierge at the hotel but he wasn't much of a help. So I randomly stopped a guy in the street and asked him if he knew of a good flower shop near by and he recommended these guys. I am so glad he did! They were nice and welcoming ( like all the people I met in Vancouver of course) and also very helpful. I was afraid that they gonna charge me a lot, but they only charged me for the each bouquet I bought and the arrangement was free. So I stopped in to buy my girlfriend flowers on feb 05 , bought a vase and flowers for 71.68 , she had to throw them away 7 days later , now I've bought her my fair share of flowers , so I called the florist and spoke to a polite lady who said that that was about right . That they don't Carry the " cheap flowers " that last a long time . Now I may be an idiot ( clearly Cuz I buy her flowers all the time ) , but that seems to be a contradiction .....So I pay more , but they will die right away ?!???!!! Really ? where do I sign up ? . Went here the day before my wedding to set up a flower delivery to surprise my bride as she got ready for our big day. Simple request really: Here's $100, please deliver a beautiful bouquet to our house. It's 5min from your store and it must arrive at noon to catch her BEFORE she leaves for the venue. The day of the wedding I'm up at our venue setting up and dealing with our vendors. 12:30pm rolls around and her maid of honour says the flowers still haven't arrived. I call the shop and am told the delivery guy was just there and no-one answered the door (not true, bride and her MOH were home) and that they will be there soon. 15min later her MOH texts me to say the flowers arrived and that my bride is surprised and very happy. I would leave it there, but the next day I'm looking at this bouquet and wondering why my $123 (incl. taxes and delivery fee) got me only 5 roses, 6 calla lilies, some now dead hydrangeas (there was no plant food included with the bouquet either) and a bunch of filler. My theory: They forgot about my order until I called, rushed it and we got a crap bouquet as a result. So in the end I'm glad my bride was happy but I will nevertheless be purchasing my flowers elsewhere from now on. read more

I am a resident of the area and like to shop local. I frequently buy flowers for my wife and through Groupon was exposed to Vivio with a $50 groupon. I went to the shop to pick something out and there is nothing really to choose from. Everything is made to order. What I received was not worth $50. Flowers were fresh which is what is expected from all flower shops but the quantity was poor. No value for the money. I have since tried twice more with the same result. This shop is is nothing special. Yesterday I asked for an Autum bouquet for $25 and got two gerberas, one peony and two spider mums with greenery. No value there. There are many more flower shops in the Tri Cities area that provide fantastic fresh product for better value. Try them out. read more

This review is based on my experience at their West Pender location. My Fiancé and I work close to this flower shop. I have to say they always have nice flower displays so my Fiancé often buys flowers from them for me. We both loved the shop until I went there for a wedding consultation. I spoke with the girl in the shop who then set up a meeting for me with Patricia, the owner. Our meeting was ok, Patricia was nice and she drew down the floor plan of my wedding venue along with the specs I wanted. I had a budget around $500, which is fairly low but I'm having a small wedding. I also specified how much I wanted to spend on each table (other brides told me this is the way to control budget), with no requirements of specific flowers. They can easily use seasonal flowers that are within my budget. One thing bothered me was when I wanted to see some sample pictures in the gallery book Patricia was holding, she refused and said since I'm going with seasonable flowers this would not apply. We then ended our quick meeting with her promising to send me a copy of my quote and some sample summer wedding flowers in the next few days. Then I never heard from her again, even after I went back to the shop (Patricia is usually not at this location) and then followed up with emails. It has been a few months now, but still no words. I guess she just declined our business without telling us. How polite! We still pass by this flower shop everyday on the way to work, but we will not purchase flowers from this place anymore. I went to Vivio Flower Gallery to get a quote on my wedding flowers. The lady I met with, Patricia, was very nice, and I got an appointment the following week. I went for my consult, and she seemed to know exactly what my vision was and she was certain she could do everything within my budget. I was told I would receive a quote within 3 weeks, which was fine. 3 weeks goes by, and nothing, so I follow up a few days later with an email. Having no response to my email, I call. She tells me she has a huge event and that she will get me something by the end of the week. A month to the day, there's still no quote in my inbox. I call and another lady picks up. I explain the situation to her, and she says that Patricia has bitten off more than she could chew with this event, and to please not lose patience with her. I send another email. 5 weeks later I seek out another local florist, Port Moody Flowers, who got me a quote in less than a week. I am SO disappointment with my experience here, which was less than professional. I hope no one goes through what I did with them. read more

Went there for wedding consultation. Went really well. Patricia said she would send quote within couple weeks. After 3/4 weeks emailed. No response. Emailed again and nothing. Went into store Mother's Day weekend and they were very busy which is understandable and she said she just needed to confirm a few things and would email in a couple days. Been over a week and haven't heard a thing. Been 6 weeks now and it's less than 3 months before wedding so looks like I'm finding another florist. Very pissed. I see she's done this to others.
