The staff are very knowledgeable because they all use the product they are selling. My mom and 2 of my sisters have been using this place since before they actually had a store front. They were all very heavy smokers for many years. The have been smoke free every since. I tried to quit smoking a couple of years ago and was successful for about 2 months but then picked it back up. My family has been trying to get me to quit for a while now and about a 6 weeks ago I decided to give e-cigs a try. I did so well in the first week that my fiancée also decided to give it a try. They always feature a daily deal - it's basically a flavor they pick, different every day, and sell a 30mL bottle for the price of a 10mL bottle. You can customize your liquid to suit your own needs/likes. It's much cheaper than cigs! 1 - 10mL bottle lasts at least a week for about $5 bucks - I smoked about a pack a day so I'm saving about $35 bucks a week! Free shipping on Fridays - I ordered on 5/30/13 at about 10:30pm and received my order on 6/1! I've only had 1 negative experience: They were packed when I went into their store (as they usually are - that alone should tell you something) and my fiancée and I ordered together - we have different nicotine needs so I ordered 14mg he ordered 16mg. When we got the order they were all 16mg. I informed the attendant and he sent the bottles back to be fixed. When he gave me the replacement bottles it was wrong again. I decided not to wait around to get it fixed and just posted about my experience on their Facebook wall. The next day they sent me a reply and ended up replacing my order. I don't buy hardware from here, just juice. So I cannot comment on their hardware selection. When I started vaping maybe a little over a year ago I tried several places, mostly places that bought their juices already mixed. After about a month of vaping I came across this place online and have only bought from them since, unless I am in a bind and have to make due. Their website is a little dated, but works and is very versatile when selecting your juice combination (ex. pg/vg, mg, flavor etc). They mix it when you order it and it's labeled with the date and all info vg/pg, mg, and born on date. They usually send me a free 5ml sample if I order a 30mg size or more. I guess the price is a little higher than smoke (not vape) shops sell, where they are premixed, and also those stores seem to be limited in flavor and mg amount. However, I have found them comparable to other vape shops in price. As far as waiting at the store. I have only been in the store one time and I had ordered online for pickup. All other times, I order it and have it delivered and it is usually at my house with-in 2-3 days. They make and ship the day I order it. Now, when I went to the store the one time it was a small place and full, but I didn't have to wait except a couple of minutes for someone to free up and ask what I needed. Since I ordered and payed online, they verified me and I was on my way. So I can not verify wait times, but I can imagine because they seem to be popular and have quite a few customer for such a small establishment. For my 47th birthday I decided I wanted to take another shot at quitting cigarettes. At the time I had not heard of Vixen Vapors and was getting ready to make a long drive to Lewisville to another store. A clerk at the CVS around the corner from my house told me about them and I am glad she did. I truly expected the place to be a head shop and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door to find it was only e-cigs and related products. There were a surprising number of people in there considering that it was a weekday afternoon. I was greeted immediately by one of the staff and told him I was looking to get started. He pulled out two different starter kits and explained the difference in them then off to the flavor bar it was. I walked out with my kit and 40ml of fluid which lasted me about a month. Next time I went back was on a weekend and the place was packed yet the staff still made sure I knew that they knew I was there the second I walked in the door. While waiting, I took the opportunity to observe all of them in action and it was clear that they all like what they do. I chose a flavor that wasn't compatible with my current setup, so they got me the parts I needed and sent me over to Kelly (very cool by the way) who showed me how to set it up and made sure I knew what I was doing before I left. Since I have started vaping I have noticed other stores in the area and none of them seem to generate the foot traffic that Vixen Vapors does so whatever it is they are doing, they seem to be doing it right. I think this place is great. I got my kit 30 days ago. They were very busy when I came in. I was there for 45 minutes. Yes that is a long time but like I said they were very busy. To me that is a sign that they have to be a good place to stay this busy. I am very happy with everything. The employees are great. I have taken 3 other people in to get the kit and flavors they also love it. Today marked my 30 days and last night my battery stopped working. I went in today and they gave me a brand new one with no problems. James and a few others know me just by my face, and that's a good feeling. I am 5 days into no smoking cigarettes. I have tried the Blu e-cigarettes and one other and they didn't really do much for me. I have smoked for 35 years and in 30 days of smoking my vapor I have given up the very harmful cigarettes. You do need to make sure you have time to spend there when you go but it is very worth it. The flavor bar is great, I loved trying out all the flavors. And they are always coming up with new flavors. I have had 2 other Twists from another company.....one broke, and the other was a 650 and was not keeping up for daily use. I bought a new one at Vixen, with a 30 day warranty included. It worked GREAT but had a mysterious mishap with an idiot. Vixen just needed the receipt and/or bank statement showing purchase and they replaced it within 30-45 minutes of when I advised them of the situation. NO CHARGE! Plus!! The other 1000 twist I had from the other company that I didnt even purchase from Vixen, they had it fixed within 4 days and again, NO CHARGE!! On certain days of the week they also have specials on certain products so you can save up and get a really nice one for a REALLY good deal if you want to. Overall....Vixen is amazing and i will never shop for hardware or accessories anywhere else again!!! At Pantego Fest I spoke with 1 of the owners so I decided to check the store out. My first impression was less than stellar. The employee that assisted me didnt know much about the products and it was obvious she didnt want to be at work. I left looking for a new vapor store. A few months ago I was in a pinch and needed liquid QUICK so I went back to Vixen. The service I received the second time around was magnificent! The last few months they have done some pretty intensive redecorating and the layout is fabulous. Twice I have had issues with their website and both times I received prompt and professional assistance. The flavor list has been expanded to include pretty much anything you can think of. Their location is convenient for shopping in store or picking up call ins or online orders which they have ready in a matter of hours. I went into the store on Friday 03/29/2019 looking for CBD oil. He sold me Hemp oil telling me that it is the same thing that in Tarrant county they can not sell CBD oil without a prescription. Well in fact it is NOT the same thing. I went to another Vape shop in Tarrant County right down the road matter of fact and low and behold they had CBD oil... I called the store today and unfortunately had to speak to the guy that lied to me to begin with... His attitude was bad about it, telling me to look up the laws in tarrant county. Well I have found several shops in tarrant county that sell CBD oil in tarrant County so I don't have to look up the laws. The plain and simple truth is this guy lied to me about what he was selling me. Now I am down $70.00 because of it... I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIXEN VAPORS AGAIN!! It's very easy for me to give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately for me I live a couple thousand miles away, so my contact has been limited to the internet. One may think that it's impossible to really know how good a place is until you go there, but my dealing with them so far have been beyond 100%. Labelling it about and beyond is an understatement. I used to try different juices at this shop, or that shop, and now, I don't go to any shops anymore. Thanks to Vixen I can just go online and get what I need, put in the fridge, vape when I want. I also have to do a little name drop. Russell Azner is top notch! I have had numerous dealings with him and he really does care about his customers. Been going here for years now. The service is always outstanding, and has improved since they remodeled the store some months ago. It was very crowded and "smoky" during Happy Hour, but since they made changes and stopped Happy Hour limitations, the crowds stopped and business seems more evenly distributed throughout the days and hours. The selection is fantastic in juices, which can be fully customized. The curated selection of hardware is very good, with everything most people will need. I've always been satisfied with their education, instruction, and services. I don't feel like I need to be a young hip cloud chaser to go in here. The counter service and tasting table are fantastic. I am new to vaping and I had many questions to ask when I first decided to inquire about this new trend. This store is very close to my home and I found the staff to be pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and they all enjoyed their vaporizing. I was able to try 20 different flavors until I found what I was looking for. They even had regular customers going in and out and knew them by name! I recommend this place if you are new to the trend and are trying to cut out the traditional way of smoking. I have never been to the store since I live in st. Louis missouri, but I order my cotton candy liquid from them since they are one of the few places that actually carry the flavor and get it right! I am always very satisfied with the juice, and quick shipping. They even threw in a free sample bottle of their blueberry cotton candy once. Very good customer service. They make the juice on the spot, customize it however you'd like, and they are always running specials, such as checking in on Facebook to get 10% off a 10 ml bottle, wearing one of their store t-shirts to get 5% off all items all the time, and half off 10 ml bottles on Thursdays.
