For several times already, I have panicked because of my printer breaking down, having technical issues, or even just merely running out of ink and being in a rush to produce in time to meet a deadline or delivery. I like that their technicians are always knowledgeable and easy to give instructions to. Sometimes, I just write down my instructions on a piece of paper, and send my flash drive with our helper who just hands it to them. So far, I have not had any negative experience with them. I've been going to them for a good two years for all my events and they've given me a good quality output every time. I remain loyal to them because of my first experience with them. I was joining my first bazaar and I needed to do rush printing of my tarp with product pricing. I sent them the file but they were not very happy with the images and the layout so they really spent about an hour helping me fix it - and they did it for free! About an hour or so later, they printed my tarp and it was ready. They even sold me an x-stand so my 5-foot tarp would say secure in the background. They do work on a lot of other tarps, but I often get my stuff either within the day or early the next day. I also noticed that the print quality is really good and there's no weird smell. I've tried other large format printers before discovering them and I often have problems with the way the tarp smells for the first few hours. I've never had that problem with them. Plus, the people who work there are really nice. They will always be my main supplier for tarps.

Mariel handled the project and worked with us for several weeks as we made our own design. She merely advised how we could go about it, and which materials we could use. They had their own graphic designers who could do it for us, but since we had our own concept and our own designer, Primex just did the actual production of the pieces. I only had to provide a page plan and the final prints & layouts, and they were able to work with it to our exact specifications. They were very patient and receptive to comments during our back and forth, from type of paper, (I needed FSC quality paper and they had 'em!) type of cut, texture and finish of the cover, and the colors and hues of the final copy. Mariel was very patient and diligent with going through everything and going back and forth to our office to present samples, give other suggestions, and answer our questions. Mostly, she was very fair with the pricing and even advised on how we could save more and be more efficient with our design. It wasn't just about making money off of the project. I don't know about you, but I have been let down by many a copier, so even though Diliman is a bit of a distance away, I get the job done at UP, not questions asked. Sure, there are many other copy centers in the area, but you will remember Blessings because they've somewhat taken over the whole Shopping Center, taking the space of a lot of stalls along the whole area, all just making copies. Well, okay, they also do all sorts of binding and printing. A couple of their stores do nice photo prints for posters and such, which is something to look out for. And they seriously have their job down pat. I cannot imagine keeping track of all those pages of books and counting numbers of copies and inhaling all that toner. There's nothing like the smell of fresh, hot photocopies, mind you, but what they do is no joke. These people have the Blessings name to uphold.

In UP Diliman, most of my readings in grad school come from the Blessings Photocopy Center, which is located inside the ancient UP Shopping Center, a complex inside the campus that has everything, from business centers, to eye clinics, from gift shops to restaurants. Anyway, I love the Blessings Photocopy Center because even though they are always very busy, the ladies and gentlemen who operate the machines are not masungit and cranky. They are very fast and efficient. What my class usually does is someone leaves a copy of the assigned readings, and we just give the course codes and the week number of the text that we need to have. Blessings has never lost any of our readings, which is great because that would mean that you won't have to show up to class unprepared. They also offer other services such as mass reproducing of flyers and brochures, risographing and book binding. I meticulously have all my readings bound in a single ring binder, and the ates and kuyas are always so nice in assisting me with the book binding.
