In remodeling our master bath we were simply overwhelmed by all of the choices for tile color, style and design. We walked out of one store after seeing too many selections and not being able to discern colors, accents, availability, etc. We made an appointment with Acacia at Volpe Tile and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. She collected our preferences and existing decisions and then provided us with several options for color, finish and design. She really made it easy to understand every aspect including edging, grout colors, accent pieces, height and installation. Not only was Acacia great but I have to imagine the Volpe Tile showroom has more options than most other tile companies. It's really deceptive. The building isn't very big but inside are thousands of samples. And don't worry, Acacia will guide you from start to finish. I just have to say that I have used Volpe Tile as a designer and they are amazing. They do great installation work.!! The showroom has more selections then anywhere else. I read the bad review from William D., and I just have to say that as a designer/contractor, he has no idea what he or his "friend contractors" are talking about. They are misinformed. From his review he says that the countertop is old, Volpe has not done countertops in over 15 years. 15 years ago when all the fabrication shops did countertops they put cut groves in the bottom of the countertops, back by the faucet (back rail) and in front (front rail) of the sink and they put rods in the stone to reinforce they thin rails. Then the rods were epoxied in the stone. This gave the rails more strength to help keep them from breaking from having to much pressure put on them. This is what he was seeing. They plumber or the homeowner probably cracked the stone putting in or taking out the faucet, over tightening it. read more

At first I had no problem with Volpe. Frank is very cordial. Jenna was very helpful. They guys that did the work in my powder room did a nice job. I actually had them back the same year and they tiled around my tub and floor. Approx total paid to Volpe in 1 years was close to 20,000. A while ago I noticed the grout changing color to a powdery white in the powder room. I called to ask why and was told they would leave him a message. I called again about 3-4 weeks later Jenna told me she'd speak with Frank and someone would get back to me that day. I called 3rd time a couple days later and left a message on Frank's voice mail. I have not heard any thing from any one. I am very disappointed in the follow up customer service. So this is an FYI to anyone who may be considering doing business with them. NO Followup if you're having a problem. I live in Warminster and only about 4 blocks from Frank... Follow up.....Frank's business called and scheduled an apt. to see the problem. He came out , explained the problem, and seems to have fixed it. He said to call again if it occurred again. read more

When Volpe & Bella were all one company under Volpe, they did a major install of Granite countertops for our kitchen in 2007. Our plumber, while recently installing new faucets discovered the sink countertop had a major crack in the very back of the granite behind the faucet. After close inspection by several friends who are contractors, it was found that Volpe had started to cut the underside of the slab in the wrong place and for some unknown reason then decided to use this wrongly cut piece by back filling the void with epoxy resin. They then tried to cover up their major error by installing the top in such a way to hide the cut & epoxy in the very back so that it was not visible by just looking under the sink cabinet. Considering the cost of this installation and their blatant deceptive practices I will never use their services again and our contractor friends have decided the same. read more

Volpe Tile came to our rescue this week in such a huge and beautiful way! Before reading our story, I just wanted you to see up front that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Volpe Tile for whatever project you need tiling. They are so good at what they do, they are so responsive and customer oriented, and WOW, they do beautiful work! if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Here's our story...Our kitchen contractor, who started our kitchen remodel in Sept to be done by Christmas, had been pushing back the timeline for months and w 2 weeks out from Christmas, he told us he had no time to do backsplash tiling (and many other things!) as planned. I was given Frank Volpe's contact from a friend with high recommendations and he came through for us in a huge way! He had one of his tile guys, another awesome Frank, come out one week later (and remember, this is now one week before Christmas and he figured out a way to make time for us!) and IN TWO DAYS we had the most beautiful backsplash we could have imagined! We had to use Volpe Tile for tile repair when we rplaced our countertops with marble countertops from Bella Marble (they are in the same building). I would never use Volpe Tile again - their customer service is awful. Bella Marble had to fix their mistakes. Buyer beware. read more

This is the second time we hired Volpe Tile to do work for us. The first time was @10 years ago, when we remolded our kitchen in our old home and again to remodel our kitchen and bath in our new home. In both instances, the quality of product, the design work and quality of finish was simply top notch. Some background: When we first used them, the job was not that big, but we wanted to make our older kitchen look special and we went to several tile and granite places, and in each instance, we felt as though we were getting cookie cutter products and seemed to always struggle with matching trim and other design elements. So we chose Volpe, even though they were a little more expensive, but the experience was second to none and the finish literally sold the home. It was perfect in detail and design. After we moved, we had to redo our master bath in our new home. We decided to go to one of those larger tile houses, mostly to save money due to the largeness of the job. Unfortunately we regretted it from the moment they started the work. Not being experienced re-modelers, we quickly found out that these big stores don't appreciate the little things and lack an eye for detail. The waterproofing failed and we had to have them come out twice to re-do the wet walls. They forgot to design a top for the cove base and ended up spending more money on that. It was very frustrating and ended up costing much more than what we budgeted and more than what Volpe would have charged. In 2017, we had a fire that destroyed our Master Bath and Kitchen. When it came time to rebuild I made sure not to make the same mistake twice and immediately contacted Frank at Volpe Tile. The fire itself was extremely emotional and the rebuild process was the hardest thing we every endured. From having to pick doors and flooring and everything, we were just spent emotionally and were reaching our breaking point. When we went to Volpe's showroom and showed them what we needed and wanted, they took it from there. They had every tile and color scheme imaginable and all of the trim pieces to match and made sure we did not miss a thing. There was no running around and someone saying "oh, you can't use that, because that does not come with bull nose or you can't have that, because it only comes in such and such style. Volpe tile made sure to bring the elements to us, fully designed and thought out. They came to the home, measured every detail and gave us a price that worked within our budget, but definitely did not look like budget tile and marble. The trick is knowing where to spend on the high end pieces and where to use the more budget pieces, and their team knew exactly what to do. The work started on time and his crew was clean, conscientious, detailed and simply the nicest workers we ever had in our home. The work took a little longer to complete then first estimated, but If they came across a design element that did not fit or needed that extra step, they took the time to explain it to us and did it right. There was no rush rush or cutting corners. It was high end work and it shows. I can't tell you how many times Frank came to the house to inspect on job and kept telling us that in the end, "what is more important is that we are happy and if we are not happy, he will rip it out" and I believe him. He would not only inspect the work, but the design and adjust if necessary to ensure it looked perfect. Today people see our kitchen and bath and ask "who and how much was your designer". They all think we had to hire a decorator or a designer due to the details and overall beauty. I am not exaggerating...I can't tell you how many compliments we get. It all comes down to the details and quality of workmanship. It is simply spectacular. I will never go back to a big box warehouse or big tile store for any large or small remodel job. The savings are not real and the quality cannot touch the quality you get from a place like Volpe tile. For us, the Kitchen and Bath are the most used rooms in the house and still today I smile when I look at how gorgeous they are and can relax that the work was done right. Requested repair work. They accepted project then failed to provided service in a timely manner. Waited three months. I called them constantly. Keep getting excuses. When project was complete, the quality was horrible. They still insisted on full payment. Bad service, bad quality, bad price equals bad company. read more

While the bathroom renovation installation might have seemed to go without incident the end result (after a month) is starting to come apart. After Frank's initial investigative visit, a month after bathroom reno was completed he agreed there is a problem. He took pictures and left promising immediate attention but after 8 months we have no repair completed. Every phone call or store visit he is out or visiting a potential customer, god help those future customers if his personal guarantee isn't worth a thing which is exactly the situation I'm in. The Better Business Bureau is involved but he hasn't responded to them either. You have been warned. read more
