Third: There is a self scan shopping option - this is the only shopping option that I use when shopping at AH and sometimes when I go to different supermarkets I tend to put things directly into my bag and not the basket. Fourth: There is Gall and Gall next to it:) Fifth: Just recently they reconstructed the shop to add Sushi Daily and Fresh Meat & Grill section. Sushi Daily is basically freshly made sushi on the spot in the middle of AH. Everyday there are 3-4 people cutting and rolling fresh sushi. Sixth: Staff working in the shop is very friendly and helpful.

Soon as I walked in here, I was thinking this is definitely my type of grocery store. It gave me a cozy feeling of my old grocery store in the states. However the only thing that is missing is someone at the counter to bag the groceries, but I guess you can't have it all. I was so delighted to see their extensive gluten-free section. It is the most extensive one that i have seen in the Netherlands. In addition, I love their sushi, taste better then some of the sushi shops that I have hit up in Amsterdam.

It is exclusive, only for gluten-free breads,pastries, and pizza dough. Open it and grab 2 apple pies because you will wish you would have bought 2 instead of 1 and also buy 1 gluten free pizza dough, it's better than the one at Alberjein that taste awful. Also once you get home with it, then put it in your oven or microwave to defrost. It taste amazing, it will melt in your mouth. They didn't carry natural mouthwash but the lovely staffer at check-out gave me the name of another store just up the street to check out. The muesli had just the perfect amount of crunch and the right amount of nuts and raisins for my taste.The cookie I got was a chocolate macadamia which was really addictive. So general consensus? It's actually located near the shopping centre of Haarlem, on a main side street. I was so joyful that Dutchman brought me home tons of Gluten-free items, because I am a big Ekoplaza fan. My favorite item on the list is the buckwheat cereal. So much healthier, than eating cornflakes. I also love their vegan bouillon, it does wonders in a soup or if your preparing some kick ass beans. It will make a die hard meat-eater think you actually put meat in there, but little do they know that was not the case. The Gluten Free waffles are also slamming too.
