I love the service on this side with 3 people helping at counter. The downtown Portland shop would always have a line out the door. They wouldn't if there was more then one server at the counter helping customers. Nice facility and good vibe from employees at this shop. read more

We came from out of state. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. They have a variety of very unique doughnuts. There was 5 of us so a fairly large order two doughnuts each, a mug & other merchandise. Staff was funny & threw a couple of free doughnuts in our box. If you're used to traveling down to Portland to get the absolute BEST doughnuts at Voodoo, then do yourself a favor and continue to go to Portland for them. I couldn't believe that this place was even owned or run by the same company. The donuts were absolutely terrible!! Tasted a day old and couldn't even tell the glazed had any glaze on them. To my incredible disappointment... they were NOTHING like what I was used to driving down to Portland for. I was expecting FRESH warm soft glazed donuts. I got what tasted like day old unglazed crap. Didn't even eat them... threw them away. These are NOT the same donuts I've come to love so much. We went right when they opened, and on National Doughbut Day no less! We enjoyed their Maple Bacon bar, their Mango Tango and their "Homer"! Good things do come in pink boxes indeed. Don't get me wrong, I love Voodoo donuts, it's just this location I don't care for. I've had donuts from this location twice. Both times, they have skimped on the fillings. So sad, because my favorite is Mango Tango because of all the filling. It contrasts so well with the sour sugar and cake when filled properly. I guess I'll be saving my Voodoo craving for Voodoo II in Portland and suppport the Mom and Pop store across the street when we can't get to Portland. read more

Heard about the donuts for a few years, so when I had the opportunity to visit Portland for pleasure one of my 1st stops was Voodoo Donuts. Everything was great, location and the shop it self. I spent $30, donuts were fun and yummy looking. As soon as we got back into our car we dived into the box of donuts, every donut tasted the same, dry and maybe they never clean their kitchen or oil. They were awful tasting. I had high hopes for the Homer but it was not to be, 2 boxes of half eaten donuts were left in our hotel room. I've eaten donuts from Cali to Washington and the best so far is the Sisters Bakery in Oregon. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because I really liked the inside. It was clean and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The bathroom was also lovely and clean, has a super cute donut wallpaper on it as well. That's pretty much the only two things I liked about this place. So let's talk about the food experience, this is where the rating drops. The donuts I got were raised glazed, dirt, and bees knees. All of them were very cold and the bees knees was quite hard to the touch and dry. When we were ready to purchase the donuts a fresh batch of bees knees came out of the bakery and the kind baker was offering the cashier to swap out the bees knees in our box for a freshly cooked one by literally holding the fresh tray in front of her. She even asked the cashier "You're not going to swap it out?" & the cashier said "No need" then proceeded to finished our transaction. That's when I thought okay these donuts must all be pretty fresh but nope not at all. The only okay tasting donut was the raised glazed but honestly I've tasted better, I really think it's all hype. read more

I was looking forward to Voodoo donut being here in Vancouver let me just tell you completely disappointed. Nothing like walking into a store and a cashier immediately walking away and doesn't even greet you or say be right with you Mind you the store was basically empty.Not to mention wrong donuts when I got home. It's almost worth the extra 15 minutes to drive to Portland. Voodoo Doughnuts has probably some of the best doughnuts. Reasonable on prices and there doughnuts are huge and so creative. Very well done they cost just a little bit more than Krispy cream but that makes sense though keep the great prices. And They are 10x better than Duncan Doughnuts and 5 daughter doughnuts. And the names of all the doughnuts are great. They have done very good on all of it they all taste great! read more

I like their donuts they do a pretty good job of keeping them fresh and they usually are delicious. I use to go to Mr. Maple "Days Old" Donuts. The consistency of the product was very poor. I'm very glad to see a Voodoo Doughnuts store in Vancouver. I had my first donut there the service was quick and it was fresh. The Memphis Mafia is my favorite. read more
