It's the best manicure I've had in a long time. The shop is run by a husband and wife couple. Chairs are comfortable, and tools were in a sterilized pouch. I just had a mani/pedi at VP with Teri. She is so nice and patient. It had been a while since I had my nails done due to work and travel, so my nails were atrocious. Definitely a lot of work to be done. She never rushed or made me feel like she was trying to turn things over to get more business. I also appreciated she didn't try to upsell me on services, like every other salon to which I've been! She and her husband are just trying to make a living to support their household in an honest way, just like everyone else. They are clean and sanitary with chairs that have single use plastic liners. Prices are fair. Ignore the 1-star comments because there are always multiple sides to a story. I don't think they are racist in the least bit, but are they tolerant of rude customers? Probably not. That's not a racist issue though. I always questions when a business has mostly 5 star reviews and then a splattering of 1 star reviews. Makes me wonder if the customer is always right. For instance, Gladys from Honolulu, HI, sounds like a peach. LOL. No pictures, but a bunch of slandering statements. My guess there are no pictures because she was being dramatic about the mani. Found this place with a quick search after being unsure of returning to another salon. I was not disappointed. This is a mom and pop shop, owned by Tony and Teri who do all the work themselves. I called in about an hour and a half before close to see if they could take a walk in and they said yes. I went in for a gel mani and gel polish change on my toes. Tony serviced me and he was very kind, talked to me about his business and did my nails to perfection. They practice sanitary precautions, which I was sure to pay attention to, such as opening a new pack of tools. When he spotted a little error on one of my nails that I didn't see, he fixed it and said "you couldn't see it, but I could. I want to make sure that they look perfect". Very honest. Very great work. I enjoyed my visit here and definitely will be a returning customer as well as recommending this spot. read more

Tony & Teri are absolutely wonderful! They care so much about their quality of work and ensure to tell you everything they do as they work on your nails. You will not get up to pay & get a random total, they are careful to ask & tell you how much it will be if you want any extra services done. They offer many different options on what you want to get done as well as which is most convenient to you. Since it is only two of them, I definitely suggest making an appointment but I would recommend to anyone. Got my nails done with Tony. He did a wonderful job and had an even better vision for my nails than I did. I got a shellac manicure and even several days afterwards, my nails still look as if I'd just walked out of the salon with a fresh manicure. The place is cute, tiny and clean. The couple seems nice at first but they don't really do walk ins since it's only the two of them. I was awkwardly sitting at one of their seats and they just seemed like they weren't wanting me there since they had two people in their chairs already. When asked what they offer, they started off with "do you want dip?" I really wanted to like this place especially after reading the reviews. The lady here is so rude and does a terrible job on the pedicure. Massage lasted about a minute and a half was soooo soft. She was basically just applying lotion. Polish is all over the skin. When I asked her to clean it up I got a big lecture on how she's been doing it for 5 yrs and people love the polish on the cuticle. well I've been getting pedicures for 30 yrs and no one has painted the cuticles.
