Wow! Just left this place. Teri did pedicure. Tony did manicure. They took their time and were very thorough. I was not rushed like most places. This shop is theirs and it shows in the care afforded their customers. This is my new go to place. Just got home. I'll revise if necessary depending on how long this lasts. But the results right now very impressive!

Found this place with a quick search after being unsure of returning to another salon. I was not disappointed. This is a mom and pop shop, owned by Tony and Teri who do all the work themselves. I called in about an hour and a half before close to see if they could take a walk in and they said yes. I went in for a gel mani and gel polish change on my toes. Tony serviced me and he was very kind, talked to me about his business and did my nails to perfection. They practice sanitary precautions, which I was sure to pay attention to, such as opening a new pack of tools. When he spotted a little error on one of my nails that I didn't see, he fixed it and said "you couldn't see it, but I could. I want to make sure that they look perfect". Very honest. Very great work. I enjoyed my visit here and definitely will be a returning customer as well as recommending this spot.

Tony & Teri are absolutely wonderful! They care so much about their quality of work and ensure to tell you everything they do as they work on your nails. You will not get up to pay & get a random total, they are careful to ask & tell you how much it will be if you want any extra services done. They offer many different options on what you want to get done as well as which is most convenient to you. Since it is only two of them, I definitely suggest making an appointment but I would recommend to anyone. Great prices and you get much more than what you pay for, very happy & will be returning every couple weeks.

Got my nails done with Tony. He did a wonderful job and had an even better vision for my nails than I did. I got a shellac manicure and even several days afterwards, my nails still look as if I'd just walked out of the salon with a fresh manicure. He provided great insight on his methods and even his wife, who was working in a chair next to us, was giving me good information on my nails. I could feel they were invested in providing me the best care. Everyone I interacted with was kind and genuine. I felt like an actual valued customer; something I feel doesn't happen too often in businesses. I'll definitely be coming here from now on to get my nails done.

I came here as a walk in to get my nails done on my birthday back in December, Tony did such a good job on them they were so pretty. I picked a blue shade and he asked if I wanted glitter on top and even helped me pick the perfect one to go on top! He chatted with me about their history with the salon and everything and made me feel very comfortable. Finances have been tight after the holidays, but I'll definitely be going back! read more

I had a great manicure today by Terri. My nails were in rough shape after a bad nail dip from another salon. Terri took her time to make my nails super smooth and trim my cuticles perfectly. It's the best manicure I've had in a long time. The shop is run by a husband and wife couple. Chairs are comfortable, and tools were in a sterilized pouch. They also offer perdicures, which I'll tack on at my next visit. Pricing is reasonable and the other clients who were there before and after me also left satisfied. read more

I've been here several times and earlier this week I took a friend with me. We both got manicure and pedicures. It was a nice calm atmosphere. The TV is on, but it was just my friend and I and the two technicians husband and wife Tony, and Teri. Tony did both of the manicures and Terry did both of the pedicures. I really liked visiting with Tony, Terry is less talkative than Tony. my friend and I have both gotten compliments on our nails and it looks like my friend will start coming to this salon on her own her own as well read more

I just had a mani/pedi at VP with Teri. She is so nice and patient. It had been a while since I had my nails done due to work and travel, so my nails were atrocious. Definitely a lot of work to be done. She never rushed or made me feel like she was trying to turn things over to get more business. I also appreciated she didn't try to upsell me on services, like every other salon to which I've been! She and her husband are just trying to make a living to support their household in an honest way, just like everyone else. They are clean and sanitary with chairs that have single use plastic liners. Prices are fair. Ignore the 1-star comments because there are always multiple sides to a story. I don't think they are racist in the least bit, but are they tolerant of rude customers? Probably not. That's not a racist issue though. I always questions when a business has mostly 5 star reviews and then a splattering of 1 star reviews. Makes me wonder if the customer is always right. For instance, Gladys from Honolulu, HI, sounds like a peach. LOL. No pictures, but a bunch of slandering statements. My guess there are no pictures because she was being dramatic about the mani. Really sad when people go on Yelp because they're miserable and hurt a small, local business. What comes around, goes around... read more

Husband and wife team run the best nail shop in town. The place is spotless. The manicure and pedicure were done by a real professional. My nails have never looked this good. They take their time, don't rush you off the chair and paint your nails to the cuticles, not like most places that leave a gap making it seem you need another manicure or pedicure in less than a week. I will definitely go back. read more

I had been wanting to try VP Salon for a while. I was finally in the area and called to schedule an appointment. They told me to just come in and they would be ready for me. I arrived and was sat super quickly and received a regular pedicure. Teri did amazing on my pedicure! I recommended my mom here to get a shellac manicure and she loved it as well. I can't wait to go for a shellac manicure soon! read more

Tony and Teri were so sweet! They definitely took their time and made sure they provided quality service instead of rushing and cutting corners. I love that it's a smaller salon so the environment was calmer and quieter. I walked in on a Monday morning and was able to get in right away, no wait. They have a great selection of gel colors (I had a wonderful gel manicure) and Teri made recommendations of color combinations to achieve the color that I wanted. Being new to the area, they helped guide me to certain places I should try and see. read more

Amazing service! Great attention to detail and very fair prices. Friendly couple runs the place and you can tell they care about the quality of their product. Teri talked me through so many different things, and gave me great recommendations for polish colors, acrylics, etc. This couple truly takes their time and does an amazing job. The place is cute, tiny and clean. The couple seems nice at first but they don't really do walk ins since it's only the two of them. I was awkwardly sitting at one of their seats and they just seemed like they weren't wanting me there since they had two people in their chairs already. When asked what they offer, they started off with "do you want dip?" I said sure and then they proceeded with "yeah we don't do dip" so I asked a couple more questions and they seemed so disinterested in helping me in front of their clients. Just a weird vibe. They're probably awesome when they actually get to doing your nails but I wouldn't know ‍ read more

I really wanted to like this place especially after reading the reviews. The lady here is so rude and does a terrible job on the pedicure. Massage lasted about a minute and a half was soooo soft. She was basically just applying lotion. Polish is all over the skin. When I asked her to clean it up I got a big lecture on how she's been doing it for 5 yrs and people love the polish on the cuticle. well I've been getting pedicures for 30 yrs and no one has painted the cuticles. This lady is unprofessional and unkind. Causing a scene in her own business in front of other customers. Go at your own risk. read more

Tony and Teri very friendly. Tony did my small small nails. I have issues with one of my fingers, he was very gentle just what I needed. The salon is impeccably clean. My husband tagged along on this particular Saturday and they both made him feel welcome. A++++ I have found my new nail salon. They turned me away at walkin because their schedule was booked. They didnt "squeeze " me in like other places. Now I know why....they take their time with each client and do it right. They dont rush your job just to get someone else in. So do not get mad if they reschedule you because when it's your turn...you will appreciate it. read more

Im very satisfied with the work Tony did on my nails. I had gone to two different salons and was so unhappy with how thick and fat they left my nails. I went in to VP Salon asking to remove them and just get a new set and Tony fixed them for me. Saved me from spending extra money wanting to make sure I was satisfied as a customer. He was honest and so nice and listened to my concerns and left my nails just beautiful. They look natural and very professional. Thanks Tony!! read more

Best gel manicure I have had in a long time. Mr. Tony took his time and paid attention toon to detail. I usually have to file one or two nails after my manicure to make them even, nope not this time! Mr. Tony made sure all my nails were filled evenly. This is the first time in a long time I have been 100% satisfied with my manicure! Highly recommend this place. I went to this place based on Yelp reviews. I was dying to get old, fake nails removed and wanted to go somewhere close to home. Terri was so nice and helped remove my nails with little difficulty & it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. The manicurist who did my gel nails was really good too. Definitely going to come here more often... And bring my fiancé for pedicures too! read more

This is the ONLY place my sister and I go to. It is ran by a lovely couple, terry and tony. My sister always gets shellac by terry and always comes out looking flawless. They both pay very close attention to detail. Terry always comes up with very cute ideas and designs for my sisters nails. Tony always does my set of nails. I like difficult shapes and he always makes them exactly the way I want them to look. And the shapes are absolutely perfect! I'm always so amazed by their talent! As for pedicures, they are just as amazing as the manicures. They put liners on the feet tubs!! Which I love as a germ freak lol. Tony and terry talk and keep you company the whole time and they always make me laugh. They do not speak another language to each other which can make people feel uncomfortable. I visited the VP Salon for a much-needed pedicure, after only a short wait I was seated by a nail specialist named Phim, aka Brian. As I was new to the salon I was unsure of what to expect.. wow, Brian did such a fantastic job! He was super friendly! Brought me water, had a friendly chat. They truly treat you like you're the only customer in there! I tried VP nails back in June. My 12 year old daughter was with me. Everyone was super nice! Terry did pedicures for both my daughter and I. She did amazing work, and was super gentle with my daughter, who had a bad experience last summer with a girl who was too rough on her cuticles. We both loved it! read more

Visiting from out of town and chose VP Salon from Yelp. This salon was nice and clean and Tony did a great job with my nails. Teri did a wonderful job with the pedicure. Their attention to detail was awesome! And the pricing was better than other salons I have been to. Will definitely return. read more
