I had nail tech Johnny. He was great. I'm very simple when I get my nails done: any shade of purple, short, a little rounded, make it look pretty, and I'm good to go. He did exactly that. We talked about animals and work life. He even did some nail/cuticle drill thing. Fantastic job. 10/10. I picked a sparkly rusty golden color for my powder dip nails and my toenails were supposed to match. Tne tech did my fingernails first. She did one and sked me if I liked it. It was a light pink with silver sparkles. I said it was very pretty but asked if it was going to look like the color in the bottle (which was the rusty color that I had picked, that was sitting there waiting for my toenails). She took the bottle and put a swipe of the color on her nail and I assumed that was her telling me that was what it was going to look like. (Dumb of me to assume that, I know. I was thinking maybe this lighter color was like an undertone. I know, I know, dumb! I should have spoken up for more clarification.) She finished my nails and they were the light pink color. I decided not to say anything as misunderstands happen and I should have spoken up. However, when I went over with another tech to have my toenails done, I realized that the rusty color was going to clash with my fingernails so that is when I spoke up and told them my nails were not the color I asked for and my toenails were going to clash. I was not trying to make a big thing out of it. I just wanted to match. They offered to paint the rusty color over my dip nails and I appreciated that but I declined because I wanted to stick with the dip. I told them we would just do pink to match my fingernails. It is not the misunderstanding that is keeping me from returning. Misunderstandings happen and I should have spoken up. I take full responsibility for my part in the misunderstanding, but I will not be returning due to the attitude of the fingernail tech who was sulking continually and speaking about me with her customer. It was very unprofessional and turned a simple misunderstanding that I wasn't even upset about (I just wanted to leave matching) into a very uncomfortable situation. It's a shame because I like their work, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I had to switch out a gel pedi and was nearby. I took a chance with this salon since I was in the area. Cue many attempts to upsell the basic pedicure by the tech...double hot towels? Pass. Paraffin wax? Pass. The gel pedi was already about $10 more than my usual place, so thanks, but no thanks. So after a basic pedicure (tech did an ok job so I am giving 1 star), I go to pay. They want cash only so I made the mistake of using the IN-STORE ATM machine. When I tried to ask what the fee would be for the transaction, I was completely ignored by the young guy who seemed to be in charge. Face in phone. No response. Yup. They uncharged $3.25 for me withdrawing $20. Shady business practice. Go somewhere else. Many other nail places nearby. read more

This nail salon is very close to my home, even with their recent move. I've tried to get in here several times prior but they never answered the phone. Last night in need of a pedi, and with my normal salon booked solid I tried again. I was in luck, this time they answered the phone but the gal spoke very little english and communication was difficult. She did transfer me to someone else who ultimately booked me for 7pm I arrived at 6:44pm and checked in on Yelp, only to be alerted that they were closing in 16 minutes - meaning 7pm, the time of my appt. Others were booked at 7 too and the chairs were all full so I have no idea what their actual hours are. The inside was remodeled but had been a nail salon prior. Some of the decor features were nice but it did feel cluttered and not exceptionally clean. There isn't a space to wait other than one of the manicure chairs. None of the customers were talking, but the employees were talking amongst themselves in their native language the whole time. I was called to a chair shortly after arrival. One girl filled the water, but three others came by to ask about the temperature. I wasn't sure if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure and asked several people but language was such a problem. Eventually I was given a menu with prices and decided just to stick with the basic pedicure for $28 - a few dollars less than my normal place. The gal that worked on me was the oldest lady there and the only one who dressed half decent. All the others were in lounge pants or shorts. No one wore a smock or was color coordinated like other other salons. Everyone customers/employees alike were masked. You're prompted to wash your hands immediately upon entry regardless of the service. I have no complaints about the service, she did a decent job. She spoke to other employees in her language but not really to me. Several times she reached in her (messy) cart for a tool, only it wasn't there and had to go look for one. I didn't feel like she rushed and was overall happy with the service she provided. However the experience itself wasn't the best. The salon felt a tad dirty and her cart unorganized. The towels were visibly worn and dirty ones piled in the foot bath beside me. I thought the dress code wasn't as professional as it should have been. Some of the girls looked like they were wearing pajamas. Communication was very difficult and I didn't like that no attempt was made to converse to me or the other customers, yet they spoke freely amongst themselves. It also wasn't the most relaxing experience. A big screen tv tuned to music videos was loud and when the employees spoke they basically screamed at each other. Price and service itself was good, so I'd give them another go should my go to salon not be available. SIDENOTE: the new location is in a small shopping plaza which includes a CVS and a nuisance dance studio. I say nuisance because parking can be difficult as the dance studio hogs it all. The owner looks up when people walk in but doesn't greet or say anything to welcome guests. This place also is very unprofessional. Had a set done and nearly the whole set came off within a day. Went back for an appointment to correct them and the girl wasn't even there when she was supposed to. Waited there for over an hour for her to show up. Once she arrived she did not say anything about being late or greet me. Then tried to overcharge me on a new set of nails by $70. When confronted they deny and don't take responsibility for their sub-par service. They trash talk about their customers as well. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. read more

We called the day of our appointment to see if we were able to add another person and they didn't even have us in for an appointment. Which is really disappointing because like i had said there for prom. Went here for the first time for a spa pedicure Thought it was strange when I was asked to wash my hands Then pedicure started and seemed to be progressing well until an inspector walked in unannounced. I was left with no one to continue my pedicure because the person doing it did not have a license! Then they left me sitting there with no explanation for another 20 minutes after the inspector left. The manager never came back to me but sent another nail tech who told me she had 10 minutes before her next appointment. I asked her to finish trimming my nails, gave her $10 cash and left. Booked a regular mani pedi for $35. They asked 3 times if I wanted gel after I got there, which I understand the thought of up selling but when you say no once, that should be enough. The nail tech did not speak to me at all during the pedicure, and only AFTER I tipped her and after she counted the tip in front of me, which was also after she already started the manicure. After paying and tipping before the polish, she explained her fingers were cut up so she wasn't doing a great job. Okay. It's been a day and a half and the manicure is not holding up, and was not neatly done to begin with. Will not go back. read more
